That's not necessary. All you have to do is go back to the first page,
and then click on the English Beta 2 link, which is provided by Wesley.

Figure the rest yourself. It's so easy, that you'll regret asking this question after you figured it out! :rambo:

The reason on why the Swimmers are named as "Lady" is because they are
rich women who wear bikinis to show off. I'll be sure to add a script explaining that in the Hack so people won't be confused. If I do this, I would have to change the OWs of the yellow haired women to fit the sprite of the Swimmers. It'll take some time, but I believe that I'll be able to do it.

Also, I would increase the encounter rate of Shinx and add a Seedot in a certain route to decrease the difficulty of the Hack.



Let me add a much clearer description to the HMs/TMs to avoid confusion.

HM01 Cut - Cut down small trees

HM02 Fly - Have the ability to fly to towns you've visted

HM03 Surf - Have the ability to surf on water

HM04 Strength (If I underline the letters, it means that it's spelt incorrectly.)
- Have the ability to move boulders

HM05 Lava Surf (I've split it to 2 words, so it'll be grammatically correct.) - Have the ability to surf on lava

HM06 Rock Smash - Have the ability to smash small rocks

HM07 Waterfall - Have the ability to scale through waterfalls

HM08 Dive - Have the ability to dive underwater

News TM's with function of HM (Laurén Badges)

TM39 Rock Climb - Have the ability to scale through rocky walls

TM40 Float (I'm just guessing the meaning of the word.)
- Have the ability to float in air

TM50 Fire Storm (I've changed the name so it'll make more sense.)
- Have the ability to burn down the remains of old trees.


TM46 Ice Smash

- Have the ability to smash frozen rocks

TM 01 Focus Punch

- Have the ability to destroy large rocks

TM 28 Dig

- Have the ability to escape from caverns and then return to the entrance of the cave

TM 03 Water Pulse

- Have the ability to extinguish a wall of fire

TM ?? Whirlpool

- Have the ability to stop whirlpools on the water

Anyways, Wesley, I'm looking forward to translate the final beta in December.

I think that perhaps "Fire Blow" is not a new move but a literal traslation of "Flamethrower". Just a thought. :cer_smile:

Don't worry, it's my pleasure to answer questions asked by newbies.
Anyways, the new English Beta 2 ends right after you beat Thomas, (4th badge)
or Auric, in the final Beta 3.

Well what can I say... it's AWESOME. There's Reshiram, tons of great new things... it's purely awesome =)
But I guess 16 needed attacks is kinda way too much :/ You should make lots of HM Slaves =D
As for SP's corrections.
Fire Blow does not need to be renamed ;)
Whirlpool was spelled wrong that's right and Float is nice.

The english Final Beta will likely be after the original final beta as the original is in another language.

is supposed to be Flamethrower, because Wesley's online translator

Ah... the memories of Pokémon Light Platinum. A hack that started way back in late two thousand and eight. I remember when this hack first started... and when it was very basic at that time and was in the Hacks Showcase, at that time... the Hacks Showcase was less strict back then... and we had the Scrapbox forum (which was removed due to too much SPAM and hacks that would never get finished). Since nowadays we have a more stricter Hacks Showcase and a Progressing Hack. It just amazes me how much this hack has improved so much. Now it has better tilesets and alot more things added to it. The storyline feels more improved as well, I am just absolutely amazed, well done! ^^

Well done, I must say that this is one of the best hacks of any game I've ever seen. You have worked so very hard on this project and committed yourself to it even with your business. Cheers to a job well done!

...I hope you can keep the release so people won't flood the thread like last time on the new beta 1, but considering your progress on scripts and music I wouldn't count on it being released 100%.
