I am currently playing Pokemon White Version, and am thinking of reserving a copy of Black or White 2 in the near future as well. I do have an interest in possibly picking up HG/SS or LG/FR. I also do own a copy of Emerald, but I rarely play that one anymore.

I was definitely interested in the Trade Corner and Competitive Battling Center, but am unsure if those conflict with my interest in getting a mentor for the Video Games in general or not?

You'd probably have to choose one of them because we have mentors for each of those section. And I can't really have you get two at the same time. You'd have to choose either Trade Corner or CBC. Whichever section you chose, you can count on having the mentor being available for you.

Hey Meg! I'm interested in becoming a mentor for possibly the main art section and the other discussion area too.
Really just feel like meeting and helping out some new members here, but I know those sections are not in demand.. so I thought I'd ask before filling out that form to ask if another mentor may be needed! If not then that's fine, I'm still up for making some new friends with new members :3 But wanted to ask if you would consider taking me on for that bit.

In terms of the Alternative Discussions forum... we have several mentors in that area. We currently have Toujours for Pokemon General, AlexOzzyCake for Pokemon Clubs, BinaryPeaches for Pokemon [and Other] Trivia, and donavannj for Pokemon TCG. Spin-Offs is part of General Pokemon Gaming so we have Sydian and bobandbill for that as well.

Depending on what you're interested in the most... you can expect the mentor I mentioned on top to be available. :D

Unfortunately, that doesn't tell me what boards you want to learn more about. xD I know you're mainly interested in making friends, but which of the sections here in the forums are you interested the most? The games? The Anime? Maybe the off-topic sections? For #3 I recommend you to explain which parts of the forum would you like to explore. Saying "heck yeah!" doesn't explain anything.

Though, you may have to specify which boards you're interested. I can't direct you to a mentor if you just need help by "keeping you from distractions" in writing.

There's a few mentors I can recommend you: Requility or PlatinumDude for Competitive Battling Center, AlexOzzyCake for PokemonClubs, and Miss Doronjo or PkMnTrainer Yellow for Roleplaying. I think based on your request you're more interested in CBC, so maybe the first two mentors I mentioned would be a good fit. Both have extensive experience in competitive battling.

I can set you up with a mentor who can at least show you around the Emulation boards, as well as give you a few tips on hacking. If you want a mentor just to set up a team, I'm afraid I cannot allow that. Besides, according to the rules iirc...you need to be at least 3 months active before creating your own team.

So, roleplaying and ROM Hacking are your main interests, yes? We currently have Miss Doronjo and PkMnTrainer Yellow for Roleplaying (as well as myself who is more than happy to take you in <3) and we have DrFuji and SwiftSign for Emulation. Kinda depends on what you're interested in the most. :)

You can make a hacking thread whenever! However you are required to have a hack, rather than just posting an idea, and a minimum of four screenshots is required.

Here is the progression hacks subforums, make sure to read the rules before submitting your hack - good luck!

We currently have PkMnTrainer Yellow and Miss Doronjo for Roleplay, as well as Astinus for Fanfiction & Writing (bobandbill is no longer available). You might want to read their bios at the 2nd post of this thread if you want to get to know them a little better. xD
