We have a lot of LoL players in out mits, so, I thought it'd be cool to have a general topic! One that steps away from the Online Gaming one, but yeah! So, have you played Leauge of Legends, or do you know of it? What are your experiences of the game, and what do you think of LoL? What are you favourite champions and what champions do you dislike fighting?

Feel free to share all thoughts, and other ideas!

I love this game so much <3

For the most part I am pretty bad at it outside of playing the beginner bots but that doesn't take away from the amazing time I have playing with our amazing group haha. Caitlyn is my favorite champ so far and I feel as if I am getting better with her(gonna try out a better build!) and I plan to buy her soon with the amazing officer skin! Some other champs I like are Zyra, Miss Fortune, and Dr. Mundo.

The community itself is quite interesting to say the least. As expected in most FTP games, you're gonna get huge amounts of trolls, ragers and people you generally don't want to be around. That being said, since I only really play with PC members, it's been awesome. I think my favourite mode on LoL would either be PVP or ARAM. Bots just get bland after awhile, they're so easy to predict and it's much more challenging facing a human opponent. As for my favourite champs, I'd have to say Annie was my first one. She's so easy to play and her Tibbers stun just wrecks everything.

I've also been getting used to playing Teemo in PVP. Usually I find myself carrying the team in some way and generally helping with map control. Also who doesn't love Teemo? The guy's absolutely adorable. As for future champs I'd like to play, they'd probably be: Ziggs, Fizz, Ezreal, Volibear, Twitch, Renekton, Master Yi and Corki. (although this list might change in the future!)

Champions I dislike? Hmm.. I really don't like the look of Poppy. I'm not sure how good she is battle-wise but her design is awful. Personal opinion though! My least favourite to fight against, well that's easy. Let me give you a nice big hint. Starts with B ends with k, has the arm of Astro Boy. You guessed it, it's everybody's favourite robot Blitzcrank. That thing is just a beast at supporting with its power fist and rocket grab. Plus it has some form of a gap closer with its sprinting thing. Oh and I really hate fighting junglers. XD

I really like this game, even though I've just started playing... 2 weeks ago? I've had a fun experience with it so far, although it feels like it's a little hard to find a champion you're good at since they're pretty expensive for the most part, and the free to plays only stick around for a week. My favorite champions that I've gotten a chance to try are Lux, Diana, Zyra, Janna, Malzahar and Ahri. I dislike fighting Nunu especially because he's just plain annoying. And speaking of annoying I don't like Ashe, even though she's pretty easy to kill.

Edit: I also hate Blitzcrank, thank you Sophie! His rocket grab is so annoying to deal with :(

My favourite champs are Quinn and Fizz. Quinn's elegant and extremely cool, whilst Fizz is incredibly fun and easily the champion I'm best with. I wouldn't say I'm good at the game yet but I like to think I'm improving. Going from 0/20 to 20/0 has been a big confidence boost but it doesn't stop me getting wrecked by the harder bots and players.

I've been wanting to buy a new champion but I'm not sure who to pick - what do you guys think of Pantheon and LeBlanc?

I use to play religiously and I was up to Summoner Level 29 before I shelved it. I preferred bottom or top lane, whether it be solo or with another player. My favorite champions are.

I've been playing for LoL for a week and I love it. I don't really have a favourite champion yet as I've only tried Master Yi and Rengar. But out of the two, I prefer Master Yi. The ones I hate fighting against are Annie (Sorry Chase and Sophie :(), Ashe, Nunu and Miss Fortune.

Ohlol. I don't miss that. The community (Randoms) is crap.

Riot are Nazis in terms of control. And, here's a story for you, my friend invested more than 100 USD in content, and because of some bullcrap that he used the same card for our mutual friends account, both their sterling, level 30 accounts were banned.

I like playing it just for fun, and thats why i rarely play it, cause of the community being a giant arse i cannot play for fun one single time in PvP.

Least favorite has to be Lux... The rage i had against her... the sodding RAGE >:C

I've been wanting to buy a new champion but I'm not sure who to pick - what do you guys think of Pantheon and LeBlanc?

Never played either of them but I've been up against both. Pantheon is almost always a top laner, usually solo. He's pretty good early game but apparently falls off a bit late. I can't give you much more than that- just look up a few guides perhaps and see what you think. If you like warriors though then Pantheon wouldn't be a bad choice. I have no idea about LeBlanc so just follow my advice and look at some builds. Perhaps watch a few matches where these champions are involved and see how they play. Decide from there!

On a sidenote, I got Anivia today. I'm liking her so far, she's pretty good at farming with her R, her rebirth ability is pretty useful and she's easy to kill with. Although it wastes mana really fast so I have to be more careful with it. Other than that, it's like using Articuno in LoL! Always good to mix two franchises together. My next champion will probably be Ziggs. I'm working on farming and skillshotting so far so he seems like a good match. :)

So I'm not sure how many people here play ranked, but apparently something is wacky is going on with placements for Season 4. Personally, I was Silver 2 last season and this season I got put in Bronze 2 after winning 9 out of 10 of my provisional matches. It's not too hard to climb but it still needs to be fixed as Diamond players are ending up in Gold and Silver. What are your opinions on it?

As an experienced Katarina player I find it easy to play against most Lux's in lane because if you just all in her will shunpo and land behind her making her miss all her skill shots when she spams them at yyour previous location and then all her cooldowns are blown. But this is assuming you are experienced with Katarina and know how to manipulate cooldowns and player's thinking.

Or if you want an easier counter just go with Talon, it's hard not to do well against Lux as Talon. I just dislike the champion.

Oh yea, Talon is such a beast. His burst and silence is really good. You just gotta know how to not fear and burst them down with all your might :P

Been playing this a bit more now recently with people off PC, I mainly play ADC with Vayne, MF, varus and Draven. I hate going up against Sivir though, I had a horrible game against her yesterday and we lost badly.

Worst part about league though would have to be the bad teams, I hate winning my lane then losing because other lanes did badly

Add me @ the Anarhit3cht if you guys are interested in playing. I main supp/jung/top and placed silver in s3. Looking to reach at least gold in s4, but that depends on how much the trolls piss me off.

That being said, Lux is one of my favorite champions, ESPECIALLY on Aram. Her poke is so amazing if you know how to properly play her, you can win mid lane most any time. Even against people like Kat who people always say is a hard counter to people without hard cc(silence, stun, etc for Kat ult). I find that unless the Kat is extremely skilled at what she is doing, she is more than easy enough to shut down with pokes from a distance. Kat needs to be a bit close to you to keep applying her damage, and Lux can deal all damage without ever stepping in the danger zone. Of course, if you get out of poisition she will most likely wreck your face--but honestly, even that is avoided by purchasing a Zhonyas due to its active.
