For Beta 12, Aethestode made an overhaul to the graphical style of the game, making it look pretty much like HG/SS.
You can find in Google the Beta 12's Demo since the official link was removed by Aethestode himself.

I wonder how that can be done. I'm trying to make a rom with a similar graphic style as hgss (or diamond), but I'm not very good at making or designing graphics, I'm only good with level designs and stuff like that.

You can't.
In Beta 11E you can only go to Kanto, Orange Archipielago, Hoenn, Mirage Tower and Sevii Islands, iirc.

Beta 11 added bugfixes and some more content to Beta 10, like the possibility to travel to Hoenn, Mirage Tower and Sevii Islands, iirc.

Beta 12's Demo is the Demo of the 12nd Beta of this HackROM, pretty self-explanatory if you ask me, but whatever.

Just to be clear, I may be wrong and Hoenn could be unaccesible.
I didn't played Beta 11E in a while and just started with the Orange Archipielago after all.

I like 3D models and all, but I really do miss the 2D sprites of the old Pokemon game.

Great work. I know what you mean. Each one gives a different feeling.
However, I wanted to refer to some points. The first one is in Pallet town near Professor's Oak lab, the second in Viridian City, near where you find Bulbasaur and the third north of Cerulean City, to the road to go to Bill's house. Some minor graphic details, nothing major.
I have also noticed another bug-error with a particular double battle. I have tried it with another double battle and it didn't happen. North of Cerulean City, along the way to Bill's house, a trainer called Hayden will battle you even if you have one pokemon. As for what happens, I recorded a small video so you can understand better.

Edit: After the experience of @Techpocket with a similar issue, I also tried to battle with two pokemon at hand, the one being fainted. I have changed their places each time.

Edit no. 2: The couple a little bit north of Vermilion City seem to ignore to battle you if walk in front of them. Only if you talk to them, you can battle them. That appears to happen with both of them.

Edit no. 3: I found some palette issue. I doubled checked just to be sure. You may already be aware of that though.

Yeah, I noticed that bug in Beta 11E, too but when I was in Mt Moon... when I was going to battle with Jessie and James in the Mt. moon (I don't remember if I'm correct with the names, but are the last Rockets there). In my case, I was only with Poliwhirl and Bulbasaur, and Bulbasaur was fainted. But in battle, both Pokemon appeared, and if I open Pokemon menu (in battle), the same thing happens. And if I win the battle, I see two Poliwhirl in my team, and Saur disappear.

Tarocco Island bugs:
Talking to Gray during the giving Mulge mission will freeze.
After the mission (by loading or reloading or flying away, I forgot), when he says "See ya" "I am extremely busy", talking to Pontya twice will freeze the game too.

I was replaying the game and founded a bug in Mt. Moon, My poliwhirl was defeated by Koga's Ryhorn and when I fought with Rhydon and I lost... but when I came back Koga wasn't there, I can go out of the mount without having the moon stone and beating Koga.
PD: I know this happens in beta 11E but still wanted to report it.

I have a question. In the Hunting Mew Capter, in the second image, is Red speaking thus the red text colour or is it the other way around for Green?

EDIT 02/08/2017: I know this post is hella old, but if someone ever comes across it, the diving spot is actually on Route 8, basically some steps at right from Route 2.

Sorry, when I played beta 12 Demo I didn't lose to Koga but I replayed it and the script works (this is the first time I lose to Koga so I didn't know) and also, what are you going to do with the characters names? (I mean with the rival's names)
