The Unova region is in a depression. Nobody is giving out money after winning battles anymore and selling items gives you very little back in retro. You've talked to your mother... and unfortunately you've been told to get a job to help fund your travels.

Your mother has suggested opening a Shop on Join Avenue. If you were to open a shop on Join Avenue, what would it be? Alternatively there's the rest of the region. Would you work for someone else, like in the Village Bridge Cafe? Or be a street performer and make money busking?

What would be your ideal job in Unova and why?

Here's a few other suggestions:
- Battle Subway Attendant
- Musicals Staff
- Staff at Mistralton Airport
- One of Clay's diggers
- A trainer at a gym
- A business person at Castelia

... and so on! The possibilities are endless. What would YOU want to do?

I'll be more than happy as a Gym Trainer! I love battling, and there's a real chance that I can work my wake up to a Gym Leader and even to Elite Four if the clouds open up and the sun shines down on me enough. I mean, being one of the strongest in the region surely has to be worth a lot of money?
Which gym would you work at? c: Keep in mind that the gym leader is effectively your boss... and someone like Skyla would be a lot less harsh on you compared to Clay!

Being a gym trainer sounds like it would be fun! I would love to be an Electric type trainer in Elesa's gym. Electric is my favorite type, after all.

Otherwise, maybe a business employee in Castelia? I don't mind being the type to just help move things along for everyone else.

Initially try to make it as an athlete for the Big Stadium preferably as Soccer/Football player. If that fails, maybe a cold storage worker? Or a baker? Lot of options.

I would try to convince/beg Mr. Stu Deeoh for 0.000000000000001% of the earnings of the films I've starred in. It's still work and I should get paid for it, especially when my films bring in metric fucktons of money. I'd still continue to work for PokeStar Studios of course.

I'd work in the Game Freak HQ in Castelia City as a character artist of Game Freak.

Hey, it's a dream of mine, okay?

So many cool ideas, it's crazy how these games were so job orientated when you think about it.

Daycare IS a good job but you're stuck on a boring route where nothing really happens (except early game in BW).

I'd personally hate the Cold Storage... You're effectively just a boring factory worker stuck in freezing conditions. I mean unless you're an ice trainer.

For me personally it's really tough! I'd have loved to work in Route 10 BUT working at Nimbasa Amusement Park yes pls. Just imagine what I could do when the park is closed! :)

What kind of job could you have on Route 10 though?
You know how dangerous that route is?? Scary Pokémon there. I could totally have done mountain tours and show people the real Unova... and in saying that I think I dreamed of Unova being an actual location once and in the mountains lol.

I wish you did get payed, just because your a kid doesn't mean you don't get paid!

Ikr you should. A human rights... dude. You know like Plasma but for humans - that can be an easy job!

Daycare goes well with my real-world experience and I love daycare work so probably that! Otherwise I'd work somewhere in Nacrene- exactly the kind of hipster-ass place I'd love lmfao.

I've always thought, though, that I'd love to run a small-time ferry service. Anywhere that needs people and goods transported across water works! Might not be as nice to do in Unova as it is in Hoenn, though. Gets way colder. D:

I'd definitely become a GymTrainer under Marlon! I'm all for training Water Types and there are several different kinds of the type like Samurott, Swanna and Carracosta. All three utilize much different styles of battle which would be much more fun to strategize with against other Trainers. Plus, Marlon is just awesome :D

I want to be a teacher at the Trainer's School. I think one of the coolest thing about being a teacher is being able to experience so many new beginnings through the eyes of your students, rediscovering the things that made you love your field in the first place, seeing someone grow to love it as much as you do and learn and grow in their own way -- or at least that's how I feel whenever we got new interns at the office.

And realistically speaking, if I were a real Pokemon Trainer (GO doesn't count haha), I probably wouldn't be able to train as many Pokemon as I do in the games, so my own experience would be limited. But as a teacher, I'd get to relive so many first-times with my students, care for them and get to meet so many new Trainers and Pokemon.

So yeah, ever wondered who wrote all that info about status conditions on the blackboard? That would be me!

I would like to be an innovator ,
I would come up with ideas to rebuild Avenue now and then and add new technical things which would attract people .
Also I would add A.I.s which would automatically help you train your pokemon by battling bots .
