I know we don't have the same facebook, but I don't see any leaks except here (when they are a section we can avoid if we don't want to) and if I really surch for them online.

Personally I love leaks so it doesn't mind me, really.

As someone who's trying to avoid the leaks, I'm not finding it incredibly difficult to avoid them. Even at that point, I don't know any place that has actually leaked game data. The leaks are happening earlier then I had expected. But I really don't know what you expected to be frank leaks are completely inevitable.

I just got spoiled last night... Thank you facebook friends *sigh* damn dataminers...

Main problem for me with all these leaks are the Poketubers jumping in and throwing all the freaking information without regard to those ... My poor sub box T_T

Its not surprising. Honestly its more troublesome trying to avoid the leaks running around than not. Ive seen some major spoilers already regarding story and the starters, but for the sake of keeping spoilers hidden, Im keeping my opinion of what Ive seen to myself.

What I will say however regarding the leaked info is that personally it hasnt lessened my enjoyment of what's to come. I don't mind seeing that info when it comes my way, although now I am trying to hold off from researching any news about the game until the 18th. I can sympathize with those that are trying hard not to look at any leaks and are getting upset. Not alot of people are making a conscientious effort keeping leaked info under spoiler tags, whether its videos or fanart.

well it's kind of hard to avoid them when some idiots keep spamming the hell out of them

Don't forget all the punks that put them into their Avatars and signatures! Gah! Look away! I never deal with spoilers to well. Especially Pok?mon. What? You want to see the entire game before actually playing it? The same rings true for movies.

    Spoilers done right:

Personally, I don't mind having the leaks unveiled since I can be prepared to put some good teams while I'm at it. However, I'm also concerned with some who don't want to see the leaks no matter what, since leaks are not meant for everyone, especially those who wanted a fresh start without something spilling the beans. Not to mention that avoiding spoilers is kinda hard if it comes to high-acclaimed games like Pokémon.

So... if you don't mind spoilers, it's okay as long as you don't ruin the surprise for everyone else (or put it on spoiler corner so others who wanted a fresh start can avoid it). And if you don't want to see spoilers, do your best to avoid it until the release date, mmkay?

Also true I'm sure they are doing everything in there power to find the store that broke the law in gave it to the leaker, also they are looking for who ever uploaded the way to play the digital release early.
They might find the store that broke the law but they can't catch the one who uploaded the way to play the digital release early if said person has stayed anonymous.

Except it is illegal. The last time a store broke a Pokémon game's street date they got into some serious legal issues.

Usage of AR is also illegal, so why are people still using it?

Tbh, despite the spam, I even have to dig in hard enough for my lazy self to find out more. How hard is it to avoid sites like this if you hate spoilers. Serebii for one, will not be reporting the major datamining. Just visit that and uh, Facebook, seriously? Your Facebook friends post about Pokemon leaks all day long, really?

The worst thing is that you don't even need to be subscribed to any Poketubers to be bombarded by the leaks, I am only subscribed to music channels yet I keep seeing spoilers from SM on thumbnails on my recommended videos and dashboard, it's really annoying when you just want to find certain song but you get leak videos left and right.

And not just YT, i was just casually scrolling through FB and I found by mistake a huge story spoiler just because a friend shared it, I didn't want to know that information at all...

No one is forcing you to view leaked information. Virtually every article and video with leaked info is conspicuously marked "LEAKED!!"

I mean the guy who uploaded the seed to play the predownloaded game. Almost always when uploading you find some kind of digital foot print that can be tracked. I am not gonna pretend like I know how you get out of leaving your IP address on the internet but unless he was an advanced tech guy he probably left something for them to trace.

Some people make Fakemons for Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon but when the game is released, they are proven wrong.

I think the people who keep saying "well don't look if you don't want to be spoiled" really need to realize a couple things in regards to YouTube; thumbnails of the videos on their own can be huge spoilers, and YouTube automatically recommends videos for you by using your web history and IP address, even if you clear your web browser history. This is the very reason that I have completely and utterly avoided YouTube at all costs as soon as crap hit the fan, because the leaks will randomly show up in your recommendations if you've had a history of watching anything Pokémon related no matter what.

No matter what happens, just get ur copy of that legally. That's the right attitude making game developers' effort worthwhile.
