  • You'll get there! It took me many months before I really felt settled in here. Such are the problems of big communities :(
you are awesome, just so you know =)) hope you've been enjoying yourself here so far!
That's probably the case. There are quite a few mafia veterans on PC, too, but a lot of them happen to be busier than they were back when the last mafia ran.

Been a while since we've actually had a mafia game in Forum Games, iirc.
I'm signal boosting your mafia in my blog. I'd join, but I've got a very busy week next week.

Mistakes happen, we're human haha. Unfortunately as I don't mod either D&D nor Forum Games I can't say much about it though, sorry.
XD I have the mind of a completionist so I like using them to collect every single possible available item the first time around :P As I don't often replay games either...Oh, I've never bought a DLC D: Though I was really tempted when the DLC for The Last of Us came out. Have you played it? o: Such a great game! Haha, yeah, I'll think about getting LR once the price drops :P In Canada, the price of the PS4 and first party games have gone up since yesterday OTL Still waiting on FFXV though! Ugh! Ever since they announced it back in 2006, it's the only game I've been excited about every year and KH3 will be awesome too :3
Yeah! I didn't mind the X-2 sequel either, but apparently a small population actually liked it \: I haven't finished IX yet actually...According to where I stopped on the walkthrough, I'm almost done, but have been fiddling around with 3DS for the time being :P My favourite would have to be 8 :D The story and the whole time travel concept is really intriguing, which is why I also liked XIII-2 more than the original or Lightning Returns, the latter of which I haven't played yet. Probably won't pick it up, despite being a huge FF fan \: I'm just tired of Lightning >>;; Never liked her as a character...Hm, any game developed by Square Enix I am automatically a fan of! Like Kingdom Hearts~ I do like the Mario games as well, I just haven't acquainted myself with anything else besides Mario Party and Mario Kart XD You?
XD Pretty much. Though Vanille would be my favourite character in the FFXIII series. To be honest, I don't know why they keep making sequels of the game...It's probably the worst among all the others \:
Haha, no it's not :P Originally wanted to incorporate vanilla because it's my favourite scent, but then I actually searched that name up, saw the movie exists, before changing it to Vanille.
You actually are the first person XD I have no idea where this came from...
...heh. Your accent's gonna be anything but posh then, surely? d: And I may have explained myself wrongly somewhere - I didn't ever leave England; I came to it. I live in Manchester now, haha, but I used to live in the south. Well, I say I 'used to' very loosely. I do have a home in the south but I've not been back for... must be nearing a year and a half now. I came up here as a student but it's pretty much turned into full-on home at this stage. I'd definitely say I live in Manchester rather than elsewhere now.

It's less really that I've strong views on particular things (not that I haven't - hello, gun control!), but rather more that some wider thoughts on life and the world in general always end up weighing in pretty heavily. In general I guess I kinda feel like we take ourselves and societal constructs way too seriously; I guess the way I feel sometimes is that we have a tendency to talk about irrelevant stuff as if it matters, totally unaware of the fact that it is truly irrelevant.

We talk so much about employment and money and grades and success as if in the long term we're something special and when we're gone, our employment status and how much money we had and what grades we got and how successful we were will actually mean anything at all. We invest so much into these things that I think nearly everyone can say that at some point in their lives, they've become totally dominating. Don't get me wrong; I'm at uni, I care about how I do, I have a job because like it or not I need money, but I don't pour my life into those kinda things. It just doesn't seem worth it to me.

The way we think of life is so linear in my eyes; we're born, we go to school, we use what we learn at school to get a job, we work for ages, we retire and then we can finally take some time to ourselves. But I really feel like that shouldn't be how things work, that our lives aren't just these paths of linear events which all start and end the same for everyone despite how 'unique' we all are. I feel like the whole end goal of getting a good job, a nice house, maybe a family, shouldn't be anything more than a suggestion. The world is able to accommodate so much more than that and I feel like the only way to really live in it, is to go wherever life takes you totally irrespectively of what's assumed of you. When you've got this non-linear idea of how life should be working, you start to find more and more that you just look at things and think "...what? really?" and there are so many such well-established opinions and ideas out there that you just can't work with. Not that you can't accept them or be okay with them, but you can't agree with them or take them on-board. or maybe im just always high idek
'The' accent? Are you sure you're British? With all these stereotypes and claims that there is only one accent, I'd almost call you an American in disguise! And that'd be awful and we would have problems. But yeah I've kinda got a weird hybrid accent now. My original one, a tinge of southern since that's where I lived for the longest time and a big fat dollop of Manc on top of it. Makes for interesting results when people try to guess where I'm from. And oh WOW that sounds painful. Like, really bad. ...like, bad. I'm grimacing just sat here thinking about it. glhf with that one.

Which is exactly why I don't get involved in it! :D It just sounds like a mess and something for me to get really pissed off about if I was to invest too much into it. As I was saying earlier I hold pretty strong views on some stuff and it just sounds like D&D irl to me. No thanks.

Well, idk where I'd start looking if I was to want to find some old stuff from you, haha. God. I'm thinking back to the old old old MSN days now of terrible small talk and abbreviations that should just never exist ever. 'wuu2'. Christ almighty.
uherihwui braces sound horrible. I can't stand the idea of metal touching my teeth at all (seriously, it really bugs me) and having some stuck there... arrrgh no. Tbh I'm quite lucky though. Got fine teeth and managed to go to the dentist like... nearly never. Haha. And strictly speaking, no, I'm not British - but I've lived in England for like... sixteen years or so maybe? So I'll not kick up a fuss if you were to call me a Brit, haha.

I shall await that day eagerly. With popcorn. 8) Don't even talk to me about politics, haha. I don't understand it, never have even when I've made (in fairness, half-arsed) attempts to, and atm I have no plans to get involved. I just sorta sit around looking confused when political discussions come up and find myself thinking, "who the hell even cares? ):" when I know full well that I should care, haha.

I was probably in the same boat all that time ago, although I've probably been around the internet... idk. 4, maybe 5 years? My typing manner was something terrible. I genuinely thought that U was an acceptable replacement for "you". Cringeworthy stuff.
I might change it to something far less offensive. I'm genuinely upset that anyone who lives in England would go along with the crooked teeth stereotype.

Haha, not exactly a hitlist, but I do notice people definitely. Less so than I previously did, but still! Most of the time it won't end up with anything more interesting that a few post searches or a quick hello though. d:

It sounds weird to say this since I modded the section way back when, but I tend to avoid D&D these days. I always manage to find something that winds me up, haha. It's not that I'm an irritable person or anything like that but I've very strong views on certain things that crop up in there a lot and I kinda wanna spare the community my rage. lmao. ): I miss the days of when I could somehow post in there and stay neutral. I should work on that at some time. Then again I suppose I've changed quite a bit as a person since then. Ahh, introspection. <3

Honestly I wanna say that my earliest posts on PC are just like me now but with a terrifying number of emotes and more sugar-coating. I definitely wasn't new to forum etiquette and whatnot when I joined.
    uhhh

I think it was one in that army thread in D&D. I just found myself thinking "oh this guy seems to know what he's on about and cares about what he's saying" so I search your posts and bang good member discovered. I had noticed you before I think, but only to be mildly disappointed by how horrifically damaging your location info is. d:
