Problem with that kind of message is, though, that the clueless people spamming your PM are usually the ones who don't know how to read anything in the first place. D: Besides, I'd have to devote space in my sexy signature for n00bs? ;; Nooo...can't do it. >.<
And yeah, I think this other guy asked me to get him something he sent to Loki's PM box. Talk about asking for the impossible...I mean, why do they think those are called private messages anyway? xP
And...the members of your section actually read those rules? Astyyy! You must trade some of those to meeee! ;; No-one reads the rules here except the people who have no issues with following them already, then they go and whine about me infracting them because 'they didn't know'. *Rolls eyes* I don't think of the infraction system as pointless, though; after all, once they hit nine points they're out of my hair for the next two weeks. That thought alone is already enough to give me a warm, fuzzy feeling. :3
Oh, and the rule-breaker person? He's still breaking the one-paragraph rule (him and everyone else in that thread). I mean seriously, I've shoved the rules under his nose three times now, rules which even contain an example of how long an acceptable paragraph must be, and he's still not getting it. *Headdesk* Ah well, he's on thread warning number two now, so if I see one more rule break in that thread it's going down harder than a Castle of Dark Illusion whose flotation ring has been knocked off by a turtle-launched dragon champion. <<
Oh, and I just love my little n00bs. You see, the problem with the notorious one-paragraph rule in our section has always been that the original definition (four lines of text) is heavily dependent on what kind of monitor and forum layout you're using, so - to remedy this problem - I and Loki set up the aforementioned example paragraph to create a non-subjective definition for 'pargraph' and avoid faultily handing out infractions and warnings. And guess what happens? People whine over the loss of their 'it's four lines on my monitor!' excuse, completely oblivious to the fact that this new definition is actually more lenient than I would be if I got to do things by the old guideline. Oh, forumites are such silly people. XD
Anyhow, things are going fine enough for me. I'm studying in open university this autumn, and since my courses haven't started yet I'm still on vacation. ^^ Not much special going on, though, since after the army and the family trip to France I'm mostly just enjoying some 'do-nothing-special' time. Just trying to gather the inspiration to actually write a definite first chapter for my OT so I can gosh darn post it already (I swear this project has blown all timeframes out of the window ><) while keeping in pace with the RPs I'm in.
