I think I mostly tried to avoid the trainers & I started with a squirtle (my first game was Blue) so all the rock pokémon at the start were pretty easy to beat. Then I found a clefairy and thought it was the most adorable thing in the universe so I caught it and trained it to level 100. x)

Or it could be that Mew was created after all the other pokémon. Since it doesn't really have to be before to have their DNA.

I don't think it would be on the G/S version. Since it was only in the R/B games because they were using it to test out the battle system when they first made & forgot to take it out. At least that's what I heard... (Don't want anyone to be mad if I'm wrong... ^^; )
