Where did you see any violence in japanese version of Pokemon? I was saw about 100+ episodes in japanese, and never saw any violent scene at all!

I noticed that too. And it's definitely a dub mistake. In japanese version TR was rightly said, that this pokemon is Scyther.

From japanese openings, Advanced Adventure is the best for me. Even if I like video from Ready Go! more (song great too, but AA is my favorite song of all, and Ready Go! is second place). And from the dub, I like the first one.
