  • Thanks! :) I was inspired by your theme and my love for Penguindrum. If only we had other Penguindrum pals... but since it's not a current anime and also a little niche, I dunno if others will want to wear similar themes... Oh well. We'll just be the few Fabulous Max. xD

Oh yeah back on topic... Nonon is best girl. Love dat musical theme she has goin' on. Ryuko has a good heart and an awesome theme (DON'T LOSE YOUR WAAAY!). Satsuki has good eyebrow game and I still can't help but wonder why she wanted to create a school with such a rigid system. Nui recently appeared and she has a theme song that's so... intimidating. Really contrasts with her cute appearance. Looking forward to continuing the series and finding out more. :o

Have you ever seen this Kill la Kill/Penguindrum crossover fanart? "Kyu la Kyu"... basically my anime menu as of recent. xD
    Spoiler:
I'm having a blast so far! :D (A little over halfway through the show.)
Great action and a kickass OST.
    //i'm sorry, missed your message ;__;

But yeah, ace attorney is uber cool; which is your favourite game? o:

Ah, for anime, I like Kill la Kill Fairy Tail, Akame Ga Kill, Norgami, Kuroko no Basuke, Attack on Titan, Bakemonogatari, Mekakucity actors, and Kaze no Stigma ;3

Did you hear about the Norgami Season 2? <33
Just last month I got through rewatching it, so it's still fresh in my mind. :) (Before that I watched it in 2012.)
Currently I'm watching Kill la Kill. :3
I'm not Japanese, lol. I just think they sound cute. But I don't understand a word they're saying.
Hahaha I'm a bit of a weeb. :P For example, I prefer Japanese voices with subs rather than English ones. I know English voices are good, but, I don't know... ^^
I somehow feel ashamed of liking anime in public. It's an annoying quirk I have, to not show off whatever I like.
Omg I love the tiny penguin pixels in your signature (and your Princess of the Crystal avatar.)
    P
I think the point was that she didn't have a point, as she was the comic relief character, but...yeah, still irritating. xD

It's not a good transformation sequence if it doesn't have good music...or lots of flashing lights/rainbows/whatever else. If it isn't flashy, it needs to be dynamic! It's Magical Girl 101! xD

Gawd, I wouldn't recommend Mugen Souls to anyone, not even someone I wanted to see suffer! Although yeah, as bad as it may sound, there is always worse out there. If it gets censored in Japan, then you KNOW it's bad. Really I don't think these things should be censored at all. Localization is all about making it suitable for Western audiences, yes, but there is a difference between adaptation and butchery. But then, I grew up with 90s dubs of anime, so I probably can't talk; I think Cardcaptors is better than Cardcaptor Sakura. xD

Moe is a weird thing right now...the shift has gone from lolis to idols in recent years I think, but it's still all ridiculously cute and contrived. Guess it's not for everyone, aha...it takes something extremely cute to put me off.
Well, I've been watching anime consistently since I was about 18, and I've only watched 194 series, aha. I keep re-watching my favourites, which slows me down a bit. I've read three manga - Hellsing, Rozen Maiden, and the first chapter of Pokemon Adventures. I prefer a good old-fashioned fantasy novel, or a Marvel comic. xD

*racks brain for a minute* The Dynasty Warriors Gundam games were pretty fun! Beating up robots > beating up people. The Yu-Gi-Oh! games on the DS were fun as well. Although yeah, good anime-based games that have been localized are pretty thin on the ground.
A kid's idea of maturity is so weird, right? Iiiiinteresting! I imagine you'd be able to find employment in quite a lot of different sectors with a qualification like that! Is English not your first language? O_o

It is! I'm glad someone recognised her...Rozen Maiden is often tragically overlooked. Kira is so delightfully creepy <3
I hope you're tasting that chocolate bunny. ^^

It kinda ruins the experience, yes. It makes things boring.
    P
It's all part of the package...like Mako's irritating monologues. Her interrupting everything started to grate on me after a while, although she had her moments I guess.

They've got the same composer, I believe...although Suite still has the best transformation music I think, no contest...once you add vocals to a theme, you've got me, aha. Smile's transformations are all wonderfully dynamic though; it was one of my favourite things about the series. But yeah, if a show can carry itself with some dignity, no matter how ridiculous it is, it's always worth the watch!

Doesn't sound so bad to me...I guess if there is a scene where she gets caught they might censor that. But Neptunia Mk. II had slime and tongue rape in it, and Mugen Souls had a loli massage mini game...that latter one got censored even in Japan, though. Criminal Girls has a weird punishment mechanic which is a core part of the gameplay though and that got a localization. I dunno what standards they use for these things, but they're not consistent regardless. xD

Aha, I see. I've not watched any idol anime yet...I'm going to watch Idolmaster Cinderella Girls somewhen, and I've always wanted to get into Aikatsu, but there's so damn much of it now. I don't know anything about this idol culture gripping Japan right now; the extent of my experience with it is Project Diva F, which was fun. Plus I have a few Miku albums. That's it.
I typically only watch three or four at once as well, I just download a lot so I don't have to get it all at once when I want something new...and so I don't forget about it. My backlog of anime is bigger than my gaming backlog, which is depressing. xD

Blargh, the 3DS needs more GOOD games, not crap like Attack on Titan! I suppose they'll localize whatever is popular...I'm amazed the Madoka game on Vita never got an overseas release, actually. There are lots of Gundam games that never came out either...it's always Naruto, Bleach, One Piece or DBZ titles. Makes me wonder how much attention developers actually pay to Western interests...
When you're a kid, you want nothing more than to be an adult...and when you're an adult, you feel like going back and punching your child self and telling them to enjoy it whilst it lasts! What are you going to study at Uni? :3
Oh hey! no problem at all! And you automatically get cool points for being a Ace Attorney fan too; I can't wait for Dai. ;__; <33

Mmm, other than Kill la Kill, what other anime to do you like? o:
    P
Guess it's a case of whatever floats your boat...I'm not all that big on panty/crotch/boob shots myself either. At least, not in copious amounts. A hot spring episode is always awesome, but that's because you know it's coming. Much as I loved KlK, the crotch shots during the transformation sequences made me cringe...

I like love triangles. If they're going to do it, it needs to be dramatic or cringeworthy...or both. A textbook obvious romance is dull. This is why Shigatsu is killing me a bit inside - there's a messy three-way and there are so many death flags popping up I have very bleak expectations for the last episode, aha. I couldn't want a textbook romance, but I could watch something filled with drama and suffering...it's just more amusing. And realistic. xD
Yes, it's often very cute and sparkly...sometimes painfully so. Smile nearly burned my eyes out from how overwhelmingly cute it is. I mean, look at Cure Peace's transformation. But some of the attacks are seriously badass for such a cutesy show...I mean, Cure Honey drops a meteor on her target. If nothing else, it's entertaining. Often cheesy, formulaic and predictable, but entertaining. xD

I don't think they'll censor it...as far as I'm aware, it's not particularly explicit, and they typically only censor sexually explicit titles these days. It has to be pretty damn bad for it to get outright altered to a point where it's barely recognisable, and with a rather popular series it'd be a risk to alter it too much...still, I guess you never know. xD

I still need to BUY Book of Shadows; I've been meaning to for aaaages. Backlog, and whatnot.
I love shows focused on music! Or at least those with a prominent music theme, maybe not focused in the same way you're talking about. I was indifferent to K-On! and I wouldn't really consider it a music anime...when I think music anime, I think Princess Tutu, or Suite Precure, or Shigatsu - stuff with good music that the show actually acknowledges, rather than a show about musicians. xD
I'm going to watch the stuff that aired last season and download 11 shows in the meantime, aha. At the moment, I'm picking up the following at least: Digimon Adventure tri, Gunslinger Stratos,The Heroic Legend of Arsland, Hokago no Pleiades, Is It Wrong To Try And Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon?, Kekkai Sensen, Kuusen Madoushi Kouhosei no Kyoukan, Migakura Gakuen Kumikyou, Nisekoi S2 (which I will probably watch whilst it airs, because the first season had me laughing a lot), Owari no Seraph, aaaand...Show By Rock!!. xD

I remember those! The smell always used to dissipate pretty quickly...although my mother had catalogues of perfumes and things where the smell would last for months. I used to love those. xD
Maybe, maybe not. I expect the next one for Western territories will be at E3, so there ought to be something that appeals to me in that one. I want JRPG news, aha.
It sounds it, but wait until you get to 25; you'll want to be 21 again! I miss University something awful. Although in my heart I shall be forever 10...with additional life experience which (hopefully) stops me from being as immature and annoying as an average ten-year old. xD
    P
...if it made a bootylicious impression on me, I probably wouldn't have liked it. Not a huge fanservice...fan, aha. Well, except for when it's played for laughs. xD

Well, most shows are better than Madoka, a show has to be pretty damned awful not to be! At least in my opinion, aha. It's always good to expand your horizons - I'm trying to watch more romance anime at the moment; I've only seen two or three - but no sense forcing yourself to watch anything that looks even slightly unappealing, right?~
It's one of my favourite franchises, yeah, although I can't stand some of the series (HeartCatch) that have come out of it. Suite Precure is my all-time favourite show though, and I adore Splash Star's plot...and after watching the movie this morning, I'm a lot fonder of HappinessCharge than I was before. xD

Mhm, that's the one, I think it's being localized towards the end of the year...no release date as of yet, but since the second game came out around September that'd be when I'd expect it. I'm not particularly trigger sensitive (well, I have two or three, but they're not typically things people consider to be triggers) so I have no issues with it. Honestly, if the warning is there, people should expect it and not bitch about it when it happens >.>

The original Corpse Party on the PSP was pretty damn scary...well, I got really freaked out when that guy started following me from room to room, asking me why I was running away. The music got gradually more sinister as well; it was awesome. Hopefully we'll get Blood Drive on Vita soon!
Tamako Market is on my to-do list, just as soon as Tamako Love Story gets dubbed...it does look quite cute, aha. Are you picking anything up this season?~

Cupcake plushies? I didn't know they made those O_o
I did, and it was disappointingly dull...nothing of consequence in it for me. Hopefully the Xenoblade one on the 10th will make up for it in some small way. xD
Give about four and a half years x_x
    P
I couldn't understand most of what was being said; there is no way in any reality I'd be able to type like that naturally! I turned it off immediately. xD

Well, when people are praising Madoka, they're actually praising Princess Tutu, and nowhere near enough: it's a proper deconstruction of the genre which actually takes the time to flesh out its world and characters and deliver a really good story. But...yeah, it's not for everyone. It's slow and formulaic to start and doesn't really pick up until the second season. When it gets going it's amazing, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're not certain of it~
I rewatch my favourites every couple of years or so...I rewatch a Precure series every year between my birthday and Christmas, since the timespan allows for one episode a day. xD

I didn't know DR even had a fandom until I realized the second game was coming over due primarily to demand. Then I watched the anime, then I bought the games. I'll be getting the third game when it comes out as well; looks to be an interesting change of pace :3

I've not watched Terraformars yet...they did some really crappy and weird censoring in the show, and I'm not sure/don't care if they've released an uncensored version yet. But yeah...it's pretty freaky. I've seen creepier, but not many. xD
Well, I've liked some popular series - FMA Brotherhood, Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, etc - but for the most part I don't get where the hype comes from. I don't mind trends, but they have to make sense! There is nothing wrong with being critical =P

You're welcome; I hope you're enjoying your day! Get anything nice? :3
Ahaha, knowing the exact time of your birth is awesome. Mine was 3:14pm I believe~
    P
Gurren Lagann and Princess Tutu, for entirely different reasons, aha. I keep meaning to watch KnK, but I haven't gotten around to it yet...the first episode didn't make a great impression on me when I first tried it, but I thin that was a mood thing as well.
Puns? I see no puns here...it's all in your head =P
    okayillstopnowimsorry

I just liked the character designs, and I was looking for an excuse to try the game anyway...PS Vita, anime style, must buy. Golden rule. I'm not really a part of the DR fandom persay, so spoilers are fairly easy to avoid...I just don't search for it on Tumblr. xD

Aha, let me know what you make of it if/when you do watch it :3

Well...you tell me. (not NSFW, but a bit creepy. xD)
My MAL scores and the fact that I tend to dislike more popular series make me feel like a hater sometimes, although I have series I adore as well...guess it's personal preference, and who cares about being in the minority anyway <3

Also, (slightly belated?) happy birthday! <3
    P
Thus we enter paragraph territory! >:3

The closest KlK gets to magical girl territory is Nonon...which is probably why I love her so much; she could almost be a Suite Precure villain. I've only gotten emotional over two anime to date, excluding Shigatsu, and Madoka isn't one of them. I can't take Mami's death seriously because of all the head-related puns that have come up as a result of it! As a shock moment it would have been great...if they had focused on it and kept it as the only moment. You might say that the show got too far ahead of itself. *shot*

I can see why; I think it adapted the main game pretty well, but the problem was it skipped a lot of the character development you got as a result of Free Time. I've played both DR games out at the moment, although I've only done the first trial of the second...it's on the backlog. xD

I'd say they're very easy to remember. Unlike the Warriors series, Basara characters have very striking designs. The first season introduces you to a core cast and adds in a few here and there, but the regulars will stick out, as the first two seasons focus mainly on Date Masamune and Sanada Yukimura. But they're all grouped together for convenience around one or two highly memorable characters, so they're quite easy to remember for the most part. Plus there are the quirks. xD
Shit goes down for the whole series; it's basically one epic fight scene after another. There is a plot, and a little slowdown here and there as main characters recover, but...yeah, it's all about the fight scenes <3

I dropped Panty and Stocking...I was expecting much better; it was quite disappointing. I don't mind crude humour too much, but it has to be actually funny. Attack on Titan is quite a disappointing show...it's about 90% pointless flashback and filler; you're not missing much not watching it. The titans are freaky, but then, so are the obscenely racist cockroach things in Terraformars; freaky stuff is a dime a dozen these days. The second season might improve the quality of it overall, but I doubt it =P
It's all so forgettable you've forgotten it? I wish I could do that with some of the shows I've seen, aha.
I was wondering why you didn't answer me, and it turns out I was the one at fault!

Nope, today I can't do that. I use hack tools to achieve it. RPGs tend to be too repetitive, and that's bad gameplay.

I like cute animals very much, especially babies. :P
