  • Twilight Princess... Hyrule Warriors does look intriguing... I wonder what the role of that Lana character is. She looks suspiciously like Lisia... or is it the other way around? :o

Donut-shaped? Now I'm hungry... Omg you got MK8? Congrats! ^^
Ah, but the only multiplayer game I have on Wii U so far is Smash Bros. But for future reference, my NNID is BellaLunaWolf
Which games do you like to play the most? Right now I'm playing Super Mario 3D World and I like to play as them all, but mostly Peach because I love her hovering, aaah. I hope that they do more Mario games like this, where you can select a bunch of playable mario characters than just Mario/Luigi, just for a little varety and all! I've heard that they will make their new mario game when the newest nitnendo system comes out.. only a matter of time to see it, as E3 is coming soon! Oh and Super Mario 64 is also awesome to always go back to play~ <33

Ooh then we should race together sometime! Do you wanna share Nintendo network IDs? o:
I've played several of the Zelda games... but I've only actually finished one of them. Whoops. >w>

Seeing Animal Crossing characters in high definition just makes me all the more excited for a Wii U AC title... Or will it even be for Wii U? Didn't Nintendo say they're already developing a new home console of some sort? I wonder what this means for Wii U... hopefully games will still be released for it for some time after the mystery console releases.

Added ya back. Send a message whenever you wanna play. :3
    P
I guess I am, yeah...not sure I was gone long enough to be considered gone in truth, but I didn't intend to return, so I guess I'm back? I dunno, it's confusing. Oh? Did you have a particularly good day yesterday?~

Thanks; it's surprising and quite nice to know that. I suppose I've been doing better these past few days than I have been recently...otherwise I wouldn't be here, aha. What have you been up to recently?~
Do you play any mario games? I love 3D World myself and Super Mario Bros U. :3

Or better question, do you have a Wii U? o:
Y'know, as popular as that song is, I never tried to play it. There was a dude who could play it on cello tho. Probably the only song I remember how to play now is "Saria's Song" from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Oooh congrats! I sure wish that 3D World had online play capabilities. It's a little lonely playing by myself all the time... ;v; Except for that one time I got a friend to come over and play.
I wanna race as Isabelle... The idea of wrecking people in Mario Kart as this adorable little dog who's usually so nice is just too entertaining. >:D

I wonder how long it will take for MK8 to lower in price... I am more frugal now that I am an "adult." >w>
    My FC is 5026-4611-0782 :)
I wonder if I can even play anything anymore on any of my instruments. I'm pretty sure my violin technique is probably bad after years of not touching it but on my keyboard it's just a matter of how well I remember any songs... I still have sheet music lying around somewhere...
Asuka... oh, you must mean Megane Euph-senpai! xD I suppose she's popular cuz she's the comic relief character that's been the main source of humor so far.

I want Mario Kart 8, too! Especially with the cute Animal Crossing DLC... Maybe for my birthday later on this year. For now, my next purchase will probably Persona Q for the 3DS. I have Super Mario 3D World and Peach is so cute asduhgjfsj... Tanuki Peach is adorable, too.
    Spoiler:
As a hobby, I also played some piano back in the day, too... *cough*Mostly anime and video game music tho.*cough* I also have a mandolin which is quite similar to the violin, except double-stringed and without a bow. Ever since graduating high school I've been terribly lazy.. ;w; I used to have callouses on the fingers of my left hand from playing violin for 8 years, but after only 3 years since graduation they're already gone...
I watched the 2nd episode yesterday, too. I'm getting a sense of nostalgia as well... Though for me there was no choosing of instruments, rather I decided if I wanted to be in the 1st violin or 2nd violin section. Contrabass-chan Midori reminds me of the bass players in my old orchestra that would be the only string instruments in extracurricular jazz club. I still haven't memorized all the character names yet, so I'll refer to the rest of them by the instruments they play.. x'D

I remember there being plans for a Wii U AC but no official announcement yet... Wah you're missing out on the Wii U! (Two words... Cat Peach.) Out of curiosity what other games aside from AC, Pokemon, Mario series, and Ace Attorney do ya play? Do you have Mario Kart 7 or Super Smash Bros. 3DS?

Same here. I can't be bothered to watch a show if I find the art style to be unattractive... >w>
I was in orchestra, where the focus was on string instruments and I played violin. But I had a couple of friends who were in band and sometimes there were occasions where the concert band and orchestra combined. Even though my focus was on string instruments, I thought I knew the majority of band instruments by sight and/or sound... but to have gone by all these years and not even realize euphonium was a thing... (I'm kind of curious to check out my old school's site to see if euphonium was even a part of its band placements..) Maybe Hibike will teach me some new stuff.. x'D
I'm still curious to know how much Happy Home Designer will cost since it's apparently its own game... but it's more like a minigame to me... I guess we shall see. :o

There are some people today who complain about Kyoani's style they've consistently had ever since K-ON... But I tell ya what at least it ain't that scary style with the big eyes seen in earlier titles such as Kanon, Lucky Star, and Clannad...
Yes! I like how the main character in Hibike seems more like a real person... than the moeblobs that were the main characters of K-ON. >w> Fun fact: Before I watched this anime I did not know Euphonium was an instrument that existed. Back in the day I was in orchestra and had a passing knowledge of the instruments that were used in band, too... but... The more you know, I guess! xD
Ah ya don't have to play a great deal of Animal Crossing to join in on the fun! In fact, as of late I only play about once a week maybe... Last time I played was a few days ago to update my Dream Address for the cherry blossoms that are now gone. But the Animal Crossing club frequently has in-game get-togethers that you can join in at any time.

Kyoto Animation characters have eyes that are full of life. And from the gifs I've seen on Kyoukai no Kanata, the overall animation is very nice. I think the art styles I don't like are that early 2000s style that has the gigantic eyes that are just too big with the small mouth and barely a nose... and rotoscope animation that treads into the "uncanny valley." >.>
    awomg princess peach <33

    so adorableeeee~

And ah, I loved T&T too~ so epic on Case 5 if you remember. <33

I'm looking forward to what season 2 will bring us~!
Hibike looks to be more focused on the music aspect than K-ON. I think it was just two weeks ago that we watched the Animal Crossing movie. Have you joined the Animal Crossing club yet? I can't recall if I've seen your posts there yet... Oops. >w<

Also, isn't there a villain (or a few) in Sailor Moon that also have ohoho laughs? I forget their names... But yes, I suppose that visual style was just how the typical 90s shoujo anime looked. xD I think that today visuals even among the same genre really differ... Like it's all based on studios and directors/character designers. Ya even have shows lifting from art styles usually used in other genres so it can become confusing to figure out the target audience based on style or even premise sometimes. :o
Let's see... Well, I said I was planning to watch a couple of things, but so far all I've watched is the first ep of Hibike! Euphonium. I've seen the Animal Crossing movie several times! :) In fact, we had an event where we streamed it over at the Animal Crossing Fan Club. Oh! If you liked the Digimon movie, the director Mamoru Hosoda has some great recent films, too! Summer Wars has a virtual world aspect that reminded me very much of the digital world segments of the Digimon movie. Hosoda's other films, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Wolf Children are also very good.
Ah, you know... I wonder if Studio Trigger would create films for Kill la Kill? Kinda like the people at Gainax created Gurren Lagann movies... But perhaps movie reboots are just a Gainax thing.

Oh whoops! Looks like I jumped the gun in guessing where those characters are from... x'D The way they emote reminded me of the old Sailor Moon anime, but after a little research, I discovered the characters in that ohoho video are actually from an anime called Akazukin Chacha.
Okay good, cuz I wanted to share another crossover thing, but it had some DR spoilers. Danganronpa 2 x Penguindrum opening vid.

I'm the same way. Not a whole lot makes me tear up... I mean, I feel the emotional weight of dramatic stories... but what can make me cry really varies and doesn't happen very often. Tbh it baffles me a little when others have very strong feelings about stories so often. I suppose we're all different in that respect. :o

I dunno what it is but I usually watch little, if anything, of anime as they initially air each season. I guess I'm trying to get more involved about current shows since joining PC and conversing with other anime fans... But most of the time I just sporadically pick up an older complete series that catches my eye or watch anime films. The thing I love about anime films is how condensed they are... Ya get a whole story in 2 hours or less instead of spending however many hours it takes to watch the average anime series... x'D I'm so lazy and/or busy these days.
You haven't seen a single Ghibli film? That's okay... But there are lots of other anime movies aside from Ghibli works! What are some anime movies that you've seen and liked? :3

Sailor Moon characters make the funniest expressions. ^_^
Yes, I got spoiled in a similar manner about the mastermind... Although besides just gifs, I think I also saw that one official art where she and Monokuma were standing together in the same pose. Just for future reference, you've also played/read through the second game as well, yes?

    I shed some tears at the end of Penguindrum as well... Not gross sobbing though. The anime that made me cry like that was the film "Grave of the Fireflies." Even my mother was crying at that film... ;-;

I haven't dropped very many series so far. The thing with me nowadays is that I'm so lazy that on my own, I only take the time to try and watch stuff that really catches my eye. Though there have been some occasions where I've watched stuff with friends that I may not have otherwise seen on my own.
Haha yes Ringo's fantasies in the earlier, especially the ones involving "The Tragedy of M" and her uh... rivalry with Yuri made me laugh because the visual style in those sequences was parodying the very old shoujo manga/anime, The Rose of Versailles. (Which of course has been adapted into Takarazuka musicals, as seen in Penguindrum.) They captured the visual essence so well I was laughing until I cried sparkly shoujo tears. x'D

I can't really recall any characters that routinely laughed like that from shows of the 2000s and onward... Ah that's right! I suppose there was Renge from Ouran High School Host Club. Omg... there's a whole Youtube channel dedicated to the "Ojou-sama" laugh. Incredible... xD
Same here. I'm such a baby, but I guess chatting on a daily basis makes someone like me attached easily. ;v; I just hope that whatever they're doing, that they are okay. I guess all we can do for now is hope for Meloetta's return and give them a big ol' welcome back!

Thankfully I was also lucky with Danganronpa spoilers... The only things spoiled for me were the identity of the mastermind, Chihiro's gender, and the truth about Chiaki. All the other details like character deaths, culprits, etc. were thankfully spared. ^.^; In a game so heavily focused on plot and figuring out who did the thing, it's important to stay as spoiler-free as possible.

Oh whoops, I've actually not watched Anohana or Kyoukai no Kanata yet, but i suppose I could look up their ending songs on youtube. In fact, I'm kind of an anime casual compared to the folks on the Anime and Manga forum here... x'D I've considered myself an anime fan for about a decade now, but I only have like 57 shows/movies under my belt. Basically if it's aired on American television or been shown in movie theaters/released on DVD, I've probably watched it. For the most part, it is all standard fare...then again, I suppose I do have a few anomalies here and there. The fact that we're both Penguindrum fans must be DESTINY!
Ah yes, Nanami is a classic with that laugh. xD
    [SPOILER]
I suppose the "OH-hohohoho~" laugh as a recurring character trait must have ended after the 90s?
We could try scouting for a Hibari! :D But I don't even know who else has watched Penguindrum (and liked it) aside from Meloetta, and I haven't seen 'em online in a few days now. I wonder where they could be...? It's only been a few days, but I miss 'em already. The Video Games forum and the .gifwar thread aren't the same without them.

Ah, yes... Even though I didn't watch KLK while it was airing, it was impossible to avoid on my dash cuz everyone else remotely interested in anime that I followed was watching it at the time. And a lot of people didn't tag stuff. But it's alright. x'D Most of this stuff is still new to me, I just remember a few key moments that were gifed .

    I love the ost, too! Grey Wednesday is also my favorite of the ending themes, even if it's a little sad. ;v;
I admit to also singing along to Rock Over Japan when watching that sequence in the show. ^_^ But that... that video is something. That person at 2:45 going "OH-hohohoho~" repeatedly must also be a fan of older anime. Ya just don't hear characters that laugh like that anymore these days. xD
