  • I don't make plans that far into the future. I might go back to Japan someday. Who knows. I like it there more than most places I've been. Personally, I'd rather go places I didn't have to worry about things like clean water, fresh food, etc. It's a little snobbish of me, but I just don't feel like visiting many poorer parts of the world.
You would fully understand if you held one in your hands when it was two weeks old. ^-^ gmregnjjker it was just a cuteness overload!

I haven't listened to that one in a while!

    Haha, yes, I play Mortal Kombat. :D At least I used to, before I was burdened with this ol' Dell laptop. ;-;

Not many people would. :P But I do enjoy it! The violence doesn't bug me or anything.

Yup, I listen to him. c: Quite a bit!

I don't know how to respond to this at the moment. :P But I assure you that am not a dude, haha. I'll take your above VM as compliment, though!
That's an ambitious goal. I remember reading about an Indian man who went on a walking trip across the world who only relied on help from strangers. Even in Pakistan, India's biggest rival, he found lots of friendly people. I wish I could remember more of the details. But that does sound like the journey of a lifetime.
Hokkaido is much more of an outdoors kind of place to be, and not in the sunny beaches sense. Plus they don't have some of the more historical stuff around so any of that kind of tourist who would even think of going to Japan probably would go to Kyoto or Tokyo or somewhere else. You have to either like snow, or hot springs, or just have more info at your disposal to even consider Hokkaido in the first place.

Not everyone, but in towns that rely on fishing there's competition with Russians since some of the islands nearby are disputed. I don't really know the details, but every now and then you'll see some person or some sign advocating the return of the Kuril Islands which Russia has had since WWII.

So anyway, do you have plans to travel in the future?
Not so much. The only international airports on the island are ones that fly to China, or Korea or nearby places so you don't get the same types of tourists as you get in Tokyo. Oh, but it's pretty popular with Australians because of the skiing. And in certain towns you might find some Russians because of the fishing areas, but lots of people there don't like Russians. If you say "I'm American" or Canadian or whatever they'll usually be pleased and glad to meet you since they're relieved that you're not a Russian. I'm exaggerating, but not a whole lot.
There are four baby bunnies. ^-^ They're all so cute! It makes it really hard to sell them.

Okay then, haha. You should be fine with it! Ooh, Marilyn Manson! :D I love that guy's music! I used to listen to The Fight Song when I played Mortal Kombat with my brother. :D

Well he came up to our car, mistaking it for his. :D My mom got to talk to him. :P He looked a lot different with a flannel shirt, trucker cap and beard!

I'm sure you're better than me. :P There are so many great songs you can play on the piano! <3 That's a nice motto there... I'm going to pinch it, if you don't mind! >:D

I haven't decided if I should put up a shop or not. I honestly don't think anyone would be very interested, it's always in my albums if they are, though. :3
I love Gengar, too! Especially the Pokemon Green Sprite!
Nothing against normal baths, but in Hokkaido you're kind of spoiled for onsen. They're everywhere. You just sort of get into the mind of "Well, if I'm going I should go to the best I can get."

I dunno. Normal crowds? Tourism in Japan focuses a lot on internal tourism. So, like, people from Osaka or Hiroshima or wherever going to Hokkaido to see lavender fields, drink milk, go to onsen, eat corn, etc. etc. (Those all sound random, but Hokkaido is known stuff like that.)

I've never been to a maid cafe so I can't really comment. I don't think I ever even saw one in Sapporo. I suspect that they aren't that common outside of Tokyo.

    Naw, it's fine. No problem.
    No problemo!

Well we were planning on selling them all but it's been over three months and nothing's happened. xD I want to keep the runt, though. :3

Awh, too bad! You should though; it's great! If you don't mind the violence. :P

    Yeah! Pretty cool, right?

Acoustic guitar? Awesome! How good are you? I'd like to do guitar, piano and harp. :3 Physical training too, but my sister says I'm too much of a wimp to go through with it, lol.

Well I have started doing Hexel art. :3 It's pretty fun! I'm starting with making Pokemon sprites look 3D. :D Right now I'm doing Gengar.
