I agree with all of this (except not knowing much about the game; I beat it long ago).

My all-time favorite Pokemon city is kind of an odd choice, as it's not from the main series: Gateon Port. It's just extremely relaxing and I never feel that I've explored all of it. Other faves: The Under, Goldenrod, Lumiose, Fuchsia, Four Island, Saffron, Veilstone, Eterna, Slateport, Olivine...

Those, too! Although I think Dunsparce gets a certain amount of ironic fandom, kinda like Magikarp.

Count me in among those who've always just picked whichever ones they liked the most, although I do have more of a preference for Grass-types than the average Pokemon fan. The first I ever picked in each gen: 1. Charmander 2. Chikorita 3. Torchic 4. Piplup 5. Snivy 6. Chespin

Agreed for both. 5th gen had some of the most interesting additions, IMO. That and 3rd are pretty much tops for me. Others I like that aren't too well-received: Heatran, Zigzagoon, Chikorita/Bayleef/Meganium, and Luvdisc.

I think I actually have a Gardevoir or something with Pokerus in the PC of one of my games, but I haven't ever cared to take it out and infect the others. (Got it in a trade.)

The only console I've bought for an individual game was my GameCube for Super Smash Bros. Melee. (That game's what turned me away from buying an Xbox instead, way back in the day.)

All I've done is: -The cloning cheat in Crystal and Emerald -Action Replaying in some items in Pearl -Getting Meloetta, Genesect, and the other legendaries in Black before they were released So I'm not pure, but I try to avoid it.

If Colosseum's counts, that, as it's barely existent. I also found XD's endearing, though. Among the handheld main series, though, RSE.

I want Secret Bases back, obviously, but with room for a LOT of items. The 16-item limit felt massively artificial back in Gen 3. Also, a few things most people probably forgot about, in overhauled (i.e. more complicated and engrossing) form: -Berry Blender -Trick House -Sky Pillar puzzles...

I'm not about to tally up the weaknesses and resistances and factor everything else in myself, but Ice, Bug, and Poison seem like some of the worst. Fairy would be a great type if its Pokemon base was... less awful. (I mean, other than Azumarill and a few others...)
