Oh no, I get it. You can picture the scene in your head clearly, so it would be fun to draw out. That's part of what makes drawing really hard for me. I know what I want to draw, but can't exactly picture it in my head and how to get there. So, I draw with words. :V
Alright, so here's the basic plot of, what I thought would be a fitting title, "Everyone Needs a Hero".
So, it opens at a high school where this kid is getting bullied. Being bullied is no fun, and this kid is trying to fend for himself as best as he can, but it's not going so well. He gets punched to the ground, but that's when something happens. A new kid comes along and stands up for him. He fights off the bullies, and helps the kid to his feet.
Ever since that incident, the kid keeps running into the new kid, and they eventually become friends. In a bizarre twist, the new kid all of a sudden pushes the original kid away from him (more of a figurative standpoint, not actual shoving), and he doesn't know why. After a big fight, it is finally revealed that the new kid's parents are getting a divorce, and that the reason the new kid helped our main character in the first place, was that he thought good things happened to good people, so that his parents would go through with the divorce. The main character helps the new kid through the rough time, hence the title, "Everyone Needs a Hero".
That's pretty much it so far. I've been tossing around the idea of making the main character gay, and having him start to like the new kid (also male) for further complications to their relationship, but I don't know.
Thoughts?
