  • I'll consider forgiving you, maybe.

I was in a plethora of those groups but at the point where I would never show my animals, not because they were being mistreated just because it was no one else's business other than my own but I suppose that is with the majority of aspects of my life. I would ask a question here and there, casually, to see other points of views and leave it at that. I believe the only herpers that I kept in contact with were the breeders I had purchased from; most won't say so but I do realise that they enjoy seeing how their projects turned out.

That sounds quite awful, the severity of your fear. I am glad as well as impressed that you were able to overcome such a mental obstacle. I never had that type of fear towards any animal aside from a Great White Shark, and more specifically the shark from Jaws. Actually, the biggest fear I have now and I know that I will never overcome is animatronics. I believe that is the closest that I can relate to you; I have fainted from something Five Night's at Freddy's related and I will scream like a little girl if I see Freddy, and I full blown tear up as well.

I hope that you can secure your dream herps one day, as they truly are such fascinating creatures. Though, I think for me personally my favourite part about these animals is that if i were to suddenly not be, they wouldn't be heartbroken about it like a dog might be. Their lack of emotional attachment is ideal for me, so I couldn't imagine a better fit as far as pets go.

That is such a kind statement; I appreciate that sentiment and I hope so. Wolf Spiders still frighten me, I won't touch one willingly, but I won't ever harm one again if I can help it.
That suits me fine then actually as I am not a very loquacious person by nature and I will always appreciate a break, with nothing personal towards you or anyone else of course. Take your time, even if you were to respond to me at the earliest next year, then I wouldn't question you at all.
I do not think that you would regret it, if you ended up with a herd of blue tarantulas, to be fair. I actually don't dabble in the breeding scene; that is a bit more responsibility than I am up for. Many talents? Mayhaps though, I just really do not see a reason to waste such pleasant skills and I would not kill an animal just for it's skin alone. I wouldn't go so far to say I am a proper handler though, experienced yes, but I do a lot of things different than most herp snoots would care to agree with. I have one snake that travels with me wherever I go, to give an instance. I actually do not associate with herp or invert groups because of how judgmental and triggered most can become. It's rare for me to see a group, aside from canine circles, that are so focused on telling others what to do with their own purchases. I would understand if someone were putting their animals in danger, but some of the things that they choose to nitpick are nigh on ridiculous.

I may try to make an animal folder on here tomorrow though I usually do not show photos of my animals. I don't have any recent photos of the spiders, mainly because they do not fancy being handled and I prefer to give them space. The snakes on the other hand are always ready to come out of their enclosures.

I have seen that morph actually, and they are such impressive creatures. I now wonder if the person I was in contact a few years back managed to breed such a creature. Corn snakes are his forte, but Hognose were his passion.

I believe what inspired my interest in snakes was the same notion that I had with the spiders, fear. I am a person that enjoys intense feelings, no matter what they are, and fear has raw potency in such a regard. I was always quite curious of things that frighten me, and I am fortunate that the list of is quite lengthy. I also remember being quite young, and seeing a wolf spider that was enormous run across our bare floor. I had company over, and wanted to show off so of course I grabbed the largest book I could find and tossed it on top of the creature. After picking up the book and to my, and everyone else's, horror hundreds of spiderlings ran off in every direction. There were so many that our white marble flooring looked black for an unreasonable amount of time. That incident stuck with me, and I was embarrassed because of it. I didn't know why or when I had decided that a living creature should die to my incompetence and petty fears; it was one of the most ignorant actions I have taken to this day.

And yourself then? What ignited your passion for these misunderstood creatures?
Likewise! Looking back, I probably purchased the Irminia because I did anticipate it to bite me. I do remember thinking that I would never cease my fear of spiders unless I was bitten by one. As soon as I took the lid off, and this was a fully grown female mind you because I apparently go hard or go home, she darted out with lightning haste. I did eventually manage to secure her but not before she planted several wounds into my hand. Those are excellent species and, of course, I give awful advice but I feel you should just go with the one you want most. The worst that it will do is bite you. I am not sure actually, I am fond of vivid green spiders that enjoy plants so mayhaps a Theridion grallator. In reality I would probably just stick to Irminias; I enjoy difficult animals. A hunksman, am I correct? That would be truly a fine specimen to own.

I specialise in larger species and own several reticulated, Burmese and Blood pythons. I used to deal with Boas but I moved away from them to focus on pythons. Then, I adopted several hots, a few Monocled Cobra and a Gaboon Viper, from a shoddy pet store that went out of business and abandoned them. Those four hots were quite temperamental when I first secured them but after ridding them of their mite infection, they have calmed down significantly. I do not really focus on morphs too much but my pride and joy are my Granite Burmese Pythons; I absolutely adore their pattern and once they pass I shall utilise their skin for boots.

That is quite an admirable thing to wish to do and I recommend that highly, adopting such a snake. I feel like a Hognose would fit you well, specifically an Anaconda morph.
No bother at all. I have the original P. irminia (Suntiger) I purchased, the one that I dubbed as an aggressive lady. I also now own a Grammostola pulchra (Brazilian Black). I am not certain if I will purchase another, as I am now over my fear of and that was my reason for purchasing them to begin with. I am more of a snake keeper. Though, if I did, I would purchase another P. Irminia as I find their tense disposition and colour quite charming. I absolutely adore jumpers though, and I always have to hold myself back from attempting to capture one when I do see them.
Hi hi! This is a little belated (and it also might sound a bit awkward coming from a quiet hermit like myself!), but I just wanted to express that I'm happy to see you around the forums again! :D

You're a sunny presence everywhere you post, so it was saddening to see that you were gone for quite some time. I hope things are going well for you! Take care, and welcome back!! ^-^
Oh, one more thing I meant to mention. You may have noticed it, but just in case I wanted you to know that there is new tool for us. To try to limit the number of stickies and just in general simplify The Clubhouse all announcements are being aired on the House News Network. One thread-- whether we approve a new club, choose a club of the month, advertise special events, or announce any changes. Anything that seems worthy of news is fair game. It's our own teachy tv set. One big important update that I think warrants a special news flash is your return as a Clubhouse mod!! Yay! If you want to broadcast your arrival, or draw attention to anything don't forget you have the News Network from now on to help you if you need it. Don't be afraid to break in with news! <3

You passed that wish to your teammate, and I got a portion of my health back. Love you girl! Also thanks for holding down the fort in my absence, it looks like you did a great job as usual Jo. I also absolutely love your ideas put forward in the pm, and will fully respond to that soon, but I just wanted to say, yes, let's totally do that!

Thanks again for sending me a speedy recovery. Glad to be here! Xoxoxo

Aaaannnddd...I saw a comment on reddit that says...

Judging how this looks...only other new stuff is gonna be, Birds, Fathead Calyrex, Regidrago, and Regileki and Zarude whenever.

Regidrago is all I care about, and I'd honesty had been fine if Calyrex was part Fairy instead of another Grass Psychic...

I'm somewhat blown away that EVERY possible rumor video was completely wrong about all the incoming new stuff lol.
Can you imagine what the people of The Dragon Kingdom would say if they knew of our friendship?

My response "if you challenge your King or my friendship with her you will deal with me personally."

    ??????*♂️ lol.
Yeah I'm still seeing nothing of Dragonite and Salamence or any of their lines...which makes me wonder since evidently "everything in the dlc was released beforehand with no real surprises. "

Unless something is coming next week with more of their "presents", their Crown Tundra or who knows...Sam will NOT be happy ...I'm still waiting to see if I'll even buy it all one day...
All true, very true. So you have SwShd IOA or no? I haven't seen much previously unknown news at all lol...maybe it's just some Urshifu stuff but following is back.

Though I'm currently watching a video "no new galarian forms and idk why they showed everything before it was released..."

    WOW.

And friends are ALWAYS welcome in the Court Of THE KING OF ALL DRAGONS!
Hey I don't mind...you might find me comedic but I'm also easygoing and unbothered by much lol. Yeah, which is also why you'd always see Iron horseshoes and stuff.
I crush all of the creampuffs. All of my Dragons know Iron Tail or Iron Head, or even sometimes Poison Jab. The only thing easier is shattering all the Ice Types ...but it IS interesting that Fairy and Ice are both weak to Steel...
So does this make you ...like Mega Altaria or something? Because that's the only fairy I ever had for a friend...??????
And if you need a swablu for sun and moon or one of the other Shiny giveaway dragons let me know.

I can't wait to tell the Shiny Hunters Club about this trade <3
