Well, currently I'm into EV training, breeding if I need certain egg moves and max raid battles (usually for TM farming or just whenever a rare/interesting Pokemon appears).

OH MY GOD DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON ANIMAL CROSSING AAAAA. Lemme just say this. I have well over 200 hours logged into BotW. I have a weird feeling I'm going to have at LEAST that many hours with New Horizons. New Leaf still really, really holds up to this day and has aged really well. I'm so excited to see some of the (good) gameplay mechanics come back from that greedy little cash grabber known as Pocket Camp. :P I honestly haven't checked out anything new as of late in regards to new horizons, but thats okay! It's been a long time since I've played a big hyped up game blind like this. I was honestly kinda happy when they announced they were going to delay the game, tbh. All that means is that they want to spend extra time to make sure it's refined and perfect. I would totally rather have a game be delayed than rushed, 100% of the time.

I'll tell him you said that! ;p he just recently made it to level 60 and is happy that he can finally use flying mounts now. xD

Well that's fortunate! From what I've seen though, Sheep seems super sweet and it puzzles me how changing ownership to someone like her would cause any drama at all, honestly. But those kinds of things are never just that simple....
Fortunately I'm pretty blind to these so-called fissures you speak of, at least as of now. Ignorance is bliss, I suppose! ;p and yeah, when you have multiple people all with different ideas regarding how the community should be handled, you're going to have conflict. That's the unfortunate inevitability of human nature.

Pffth, my guy has been steadily playing WoW for a while. He's tried to get me into it, but I know that would end badly because I would end up getting. So. Hooked. xD

Oh please, you seem fantastic too, honestly. This place makes me think of a more active Pokemon Crossroads (another vBulletin forum that I've developed some reeeaaaally close friendships at), and I really, really like that. Yeah, I agree!

Yeah, Pokefarm is a lot like GPXPlus, but there's a lot more to do. There's also quite a few mechanics that are hidden behind paywalls (special currency that you can get by paying money), but the game's got me so drawn in that I don't even mind anymore. The community is great! The members are really nice, and honestly even the mods are pretty cool. But a lot of the higher-up staff, such as the admins and mods that have a lot of seniority, tend to come off rather...flippant, I guess? It drives me crazy because it feels like I'm the only one that notices. I've made some pretty awesome friends there, too, but for the most part I don't get very involved in the community. If I were to compare PFQ to PC in a way that's a little odd but easy to understand, I'd say this place is pretty warm while Pokefarm's community just feels...more cold and empty. I guess all the controversies that the founding admin(s) got into back in the day on the old Pokefarm website just kinda left a bitter taste in my mouth, perhaps.

GPXPlus has more friendly and polite staff, to be honest. I guess it's just so big that it feels empty and lonely. That sounds kinda strange but honestly makes a lot of sense when you think about it. :o But I totally recommend the game if you ever wanna check it out, I've had lots of good times there. :D

Looks like I'll have to resort to the same strategy. xD Might have to hijack his game for a bit and go collect a bunch of treasure items for money so I can get some, catch some fodder Pokemon and send them over to me. He loves Sword, but honestly he has commitment issues when it comes to seeing a game all the way through. I mean fair enough, definitely nothing against him cause I'm pretty much the same way loooool. Either that or I get like, super addicted and focused on one game.

Honestly I'm really enjoying this community so far. From the limited interactions I've had with people here, everyone seems extremely kind and down-to-earth. Just came back from Pokefarm and their staff is...let's just say, less than stellar? xD Not as kind. Maybe it's just me, but despite both this community AND their community being very active, this one just feels much more warm and homey! I was reminded again why I don't get involved with the forums there. Man, the game sure is fun though. I've spent countless hours and probably a couple hundred bucks in the four-ish? years I've been playing. :p But yeah, definitely going to try to plant my roots here! Also you can literally never go wrong with vBulletin forums hahah
