Yeah, and he also voiced Death the Kid from Soul Eater, who is one of my favorite anime characters, because I could easily relate to his struggles for perfection.

Cilan, on the other hand, I don't know. He seems like the Superman of Pokemon, having very little flaws to make him more likable.

I couldn't stand Iris belittling Ash. She's part of a character archetype I could not stand, because that's now how they behave in real life.

Obviously Diamond & Pearl was the best saga of the series. I miss Dawn so much, and her limited comeback at Best Wishes wasn't enough.

Definitely. I don't know what's worse: a series that starts off good before going downhill quickly or a series being bad from beginning to end.

Sheesh, I knew Serena was poorly handled early on and suggested the plot wouldn't have changed without her, but kicking her out before the series' end was both satisfying and bizarre at the same time. And despite all of their efforts, it still wasn't enough. Yeah, there's now a fear of the anime becoming Ash-centric now that Clemont's purpose as a gym leader has been fulfilled, but let's hope it's a better handled than in Best Wishes.

I had to re-read this twice to fully understand what it's talking about due to the poor grammar, but it has a point about idol anime and how it's out-of-place in Pokemon. Plus such a feature wasn't included in the original games, unless Pokemon Z or X2/Y2 includes it. Once again, I feel as though the anime would've been better off without Serena as part of the group, as I would've preferred Korrina after seeing her performance with her Lucario.

Well I didn't state that it's definitely what i'll be doing, it's the first thing that came to mind, and people seem to like that idea. But it could be something else! And for the record, here's the link to the rules of said Wonderlocke that Marriland attempted, which is where I got the idea from. As I said, he never finished it, which is kind of a shame because he was doing really good - he only had three deaths after six badges, while his WonderWedlocke stream had 15 at that same point. Then again, that challenge had Pokémon gaining full EXP and boosted in comparison.

Yep, it happened. Although Mars and Jupiter were no problem at all thanks to Fandango's Steel-type and Substitute, Cyrus was a completely different story. I went into that fight steeled for the worst, and not only was it as bad as I was prepared for, but that Gyarados literally decided to be Chuck's Poliwrath all over again. Three of those four deaths were to that thing alone, two of them (Quadrille and Minuet) without a scratch on it, and it scored two critical hit Waterfalls in a row, one was unnecessary on Minuet because he was below half health anyway, and the second was an OHKO on Bunny Hop after ThunderPunch did less than 3/4 his health - which was good, because he didn't heal, allowing Freestyle to kill it, Weavile and Houndoom afterward, and do over half to Honchkrow. Had he healed Gyarados after it killed Bunny Hop, that thing would have swept my team.

I haven't chosen my replacements yet, but aside from what you mentioned one other thing I have that might prove interesting is Moonwalk the Clefairy, which I caught at Mt. Coronet's mountaintop just before the big events, and can learn Cosmic Power and Moonlight along with a slew of other attacks. Route 222, which will probably be my final encounter of the game given I have basically everything I can obtain after that, does provide me with a chance to get Electabuzz, but by then i'll have already formed my new pairs.

In the thread for that challenge, there was something I discussed wanting to do on Black 2 to follow my Personalocke with. Something that will likely seem intimidating... I'm probably going to start playing that before I even get to Victory Road in Platinum.
