    Lines across Game Boy Screen

I just bought a classic GB that has the same problem. Oh well, it's still cool! :)

3rd Gen Shouldn't bad eggs be illigal

Bad eggs weren't designed as a punishment for cheating. It's simply a place holder the game uses when it encounters data it cannot understand. This usually occurs through the use of cheating devices, yes. The game doesn't check to see if you are using an AR, then give you Bad Eggs...

    The New Shaymin.Net

Running a web server increases that risk dramatically, especially if you don't really know what you are doing (and use Xampp, for example ;) )

    What should I do?

You could just uninstall everything, but it won't be anywhere near as thorough as just reformating the machine completely. If your computer has a COA sticker with a Windows Key written on it, you can just find an XP (or Vista) OEM disk of the correct version (well, with Vista any OEM disk should...

    What should I do?

You mean a reformat. Very different to the System Restore found in Windows Millenium edition and later. A reformat will take to back to a completely clean XP, whereas System Restore only rolls back to a "recovery point" and can only restore certain file types (exe, dll, and a few others). It...

Run Windows apps in Mac with no emulator?

They're all pretty much based on the linux application WINE. That includes that Crossover Office/Mac and Darwine among others They don't act like malware, they aren't malware, and we'd certainly like a clarification of "loopholes that exploit your computer to malware". What loopholes do you...

    What should I do?

Or more likely that Windows has no handler for that particular file extension!

    What should I do?

System restore doesn't delete files, it just rolls back system files to whatever date. It's the first thing I disable on a new install of XP, because I've lost count of where someone has rolled back and had a virus they cleared come back! You'd be better off running a few Antispyware programs...

What is better: Free or not free

As much as I like Linux, there is ZERO chance that Wine runs more games than Vista. Gaming in Wine isn't even that mature yet! Please get your facts together. You make the rest of us Linux users look like idiots!

    Desktop Screen Recorder?

Umm, he's already tried Hypercam... Camtasia Studio will do exactly what you need, and last time I checked had a 30 day trial. It's not cheap, however!

    Annoying dual booting Vista problem(s)

He said himself it didn't work in the first post.... "Windows Vista x64 Bit Edition - All in one (don't work, my computer is x32 bit)"

What kind of laptop/pc do you have?

I have a HP xw4600 workstation which has a Core 2 Duo 3ghz CPU, 4gb of RAM, and 2x500gb drives mirrored using raid (Running Ubuntu 8.04 64bit). When away from my desk I use an Acer Aspire One which has a 1.6ghz Intel Atom CPU, 1.5gb of RAM and an 8gb solid state drive. It runs XP Pro because...

    Microsoft copy others?

How do you explain the BSD networking stack they used (legally, I might add) in XP?

What is better: Free or not free

Alas, not everyone is happy but it does happen. I imagine it was probably a driver problem which unfortunately are all too common currently! :( But Ubuntu is not terrible :)
