I agree about gyarados, he would be a good addition to your team

I would go with Empoleon as te starter with staratpro

I would use: Doryuzu (Never used him before, but I fought his pre-evolution and it really impressed me)

slowbro and hypno are some good pokemon to use from legendary i would use lugia or latios

I would go with scizor pokemon
