i mean i think you can get into it at any age. i didnt get into pokemon until i was in 4th grade, so i was probably 9 or 10 at the time.

oh gosh i havent listened to any in forever. i used to like 5 years ago back when i was super obsessed but i dont really anymore. i do love a lot of the movie soundtrack though. i dont know of any mlp authors off the top of my head. i wasnt really one for reading mlp fan fic. i did write a lot of it back then though like 5-6 years ago. maybe 7.

Smaller Pokemon teams often have more personality, too - a lot of Ash's Pokemon get skimped on time to develop because he has so many of them. Dawn needing to develop individual styles for her Pokemon made them more interesting, I think.

It just sounded to me like he wasn't giving you any choice when you said he'd rather you watch him play it, especially if that's something you wanted to do. The game is 2 player too, so you could even play it together if you wanted to. But if that isn't what you meant to imply, that's fair enough - don't worry too much about it, OK? The fault is mine for misinterpreting what you said...which is partly why I inquired, to make sure I was reading what you said correctly. It turns out I wasn't, so that's OK. I used to hate losing too, haha. I can't say I'm overly keen on it now, but...eh, it's something that happens. Happens a lot depending on the type of game you play. xD

To be fair, she doesn't have a lot of competition...Ash's companions have never really received much attention. Everything about the DP anime was better - the rivals, the villains, the general flow of the plot and character development, etc.

and yeah i did! i watched a pre release of it (a day before it came out everywhere else) and i loved it so much. i have it on dvd too! and i have a tempest shadow stuffed animal my boyfriend got me from build a bear and a tempest shadow pop figurine as well as a tempest shadow shirt from hot topic haha. i really like the movie ;w;

I think most people these days play to win rather than to have fun - or only have fun when they're winning - which makes it quite unpleasant when people lose in PvP...assuming they play to the end and don't disconnect when it's clear that they won't. You still get that in PvE titles like MH - two out of three carts and people will start disappearing because they don't want to fail the hunt - but since the failure is shared it's not as...caustic, I guess? Unless one person is responsible, anyway. Then it kinda sucks for that person =x

Will you be getting the Let's Go games? I've thought about it, but I really do not like motion controls at all, so these will probably be the first Pokemon titles that I will actually skip.
