I think it's less the GPS tricking and more the app or app store itself - if we went overseas the game should still work fine.

That is assuming one always wants to be in the CBD. =p E.g. once a week I go to Marsfield (near Epping) for uni work, so Meadowbank is better. Karate dojo is in Hornsby to, so I'm basically in the middle.
