whoa, articles from thirty years ago? we'd probably get scolded if we use articles that are more than 10 years old, unless there really aren't any others to be found or it's one of those milestone review studies haha. did you find the Environmental subject interesting at all then, since it's not as chemistry-centered?
as for our practicals... well, it is important to eat well before heading in, as we've had people fainting before from working with the bodies, but i've been pretty okay with them so far luckily. i agree that it helps to think of them as very accurate models, and to that end the faces of the bodies always stay covered up. still, when you see their hands and nails for example it does remind you that these were once real people ( ´ ▽ ` )ゞ it's a strange sensation. what are the (non-computer) practicals that you do like? the only experience i have with chemistry is of high school, and the one year of Pharmacy i studied before going into Medicine, so i'm curious! it's kind of a silly question, but what do you do?
so, i'm not sure if i've asked this before, but where are you from? it's striking to me that you refer to them as 'practicum', but so it has me wondering if i (and my university then, lol) are wrong in using 'practical' instead haha.
and well finally... i suppose i technically would have the time for a job. but any time i have left i'd be much better off putting into my studies then really, haha. again, discipline is lacking generally xD at the moment in my country there is a bit of a surplus of doctors, so i've heard it can be quite difficult to find a job at the appropriate 'level' once education is officially over - but it does also depend on which specialism you choose. for example, neurology is very popular and so kinda stuffed, but there is actually a shortage in geriatrics.
