Jesus, this is going to be a long response. Time for you to experience the force of a Zeria textwall. Maybe not the full force - that happens when I have to post things in two parts because I break the character limit; ask Little Sis, she knows - but some small measure of force.
...that explains why you essentially said the same thing twice with slightly different wording then, haha. I don't mind speech-to-text as long as I can figure out what is actually being said, so eh, don't worry about it.
It's fine, I'm generally one of those people who will remain miserable when they're miserable most of the time. Sometimes distraction works - like it did on Friday morning; I'm still grateful to you and Melody for that - but sometimes I just can't really focus on anything. I'm just sorry I couldn't take part in the E3 festivities last night; I feel pretty bad about that. Sometimes - a lot more recently, actually - it has been a bit of a show for me, because I haven't wanted to clutter things with drama etc, and I have felt like I'm playing a scripted part. But eh. We do what we can, no?
Yes, Dishonored 2 looks fantastic; I'm so glad they kept the gritty visual style and didn't try to upgrade or alter it in any meaningful way. I love the direction they're taking with it...the fact that it comes out four days after my birthday is nice, too. I'll probably replay the original in October and do the story DLC this time around too, just to refresh my memory.
You could have just posted a picture of Vegeta or something to do that. /literal-minded interpretation
...really want to watch Dragonball again now =x
Oh, I know you weren't making fun or anything last night; stuff just isn't for everyone and I totally get that. You can share your reasons if you like; I'd be interested in hearing if you'd be interested in sharing. Who knows, it might not be a blanket thing...maybe there is something you'd enjoy. Like how you think I'd probably enjoy Persona 2 if I ever got my hands on it.
The differences between Marvel and DC's styles is a lot more pronounced than you might think - Marvel tells grander-scale stories (as in, literally everything ties together) and DC focus more on smaller-scale stories that don't intersect at all until major crossovers. You also have a larger...indie comics market, I guess? Buffy and Angel have been ongoing series for ages; I'm itching to read those somewhen. You've got stuff like Saga as well, which is an amazingly gritty space opera filled with crazy-as-hell stuff. It's a more varied media than it used to be anyways, when your only choices were literally Marvel and DC and all they did were the same sorts of things. There are some amazing writers out there now putting out some fantastic stories. I wish JMS was doing more; he's a major - if not the main - reason I'm so into comics and sci-fi in the first place. But yeah, don't feel the need to put yourself out for me, though~
I'm still playing it, I'm on Chapter 18 at the moment. I won't move on to anything major (I will probably play Kirby and more Hyrule Warriors Legends for breaks) until I'm done with all three pathways. After that I miiiight go back to my Vita or something; I dunno, I'll probably whine about it somewhere. Well, I suppose to say she "made" me play it might be an overstatement, but she refused to play it until I have, because it's my game and I spent so much money on it, etc...even though I did it for her and I would have been just as happy not getting the games at all. I suppose she just doesn't want to feel like I've spent that much on her or something. It's...eh, a difficult thing to explain at this time of day, so I won't, haha. I've never actually had much anti video-game sentiment to deal with, other than that I have too many of the things, don't need more than one console/handheld, shouldn't buy it if I can't play it straight away, etc.
PQ is still on my backlog...I will try it somewhen, though. You know my stance on spinoffs, especially since you went back to the old DCC recently, haha. I love crossover stuff like that, though! There was this absolutely terrifying one I found once that fused Madoka with Kuusou Rumba, but I think it's long since been deleted. Then there are the random song videos...like the Death Note polka, or Mami's Tetris. Stuff like that makes me cackle something awful.
Aaanywho. Since you'll read this when you get back, I hope you slept well! I'll be off and on today same as usual, so I'll see you about. Thanks for sticking that poll for me this morning, too~
