Haha, if my car had an auxiliary cord, then I wouldn't listen to the radio much either. Unfortunately, that's not the case, so I'm stuck hearing the same songs played eighty times per day. :[ The amount of TV I watch has dropped significantly the past few years, and now that I recently got Netflix, it seems I won't be watching much television.

I get what you're saying. I don't think I've ever watched a series that hasn't originated in the US, so it will be interesting to watch some episodes and see what the differences are, haha. I've seen clips of the British counterpart of The Office, and it sounded alright. Personally, I have to finish a show before I start a new one, or else I won't progress with either, so I still have to catch up with Parks and Recreation.

In the UK, I imagine the charts are different from here in the US, but Lorde's Royals reigned supreme for a long time, and at first it was alright, but now I absolutely despise it. Lorde has some good songs though, the radio just ruined that one for me. There are a few others I could list that put me off when I hear them.

Definitely. I know when I ask people to recommend music, I want it to be a new sound, not some top 40 hit that's generally well received by a population of individuals with no real taste. Not gonna lie though, I do download some chart-toppers every now and then. :c

Ah, I've never heard about that! Haven't listened to too much of him, but from the few songs I heard (and that one you mentioned was one of them, iirc), he has some mellow vibes about him. However, there is certainly some definable variety in his music which I really like. Lucky that you got to see him! o:

By the way, I have to ask, is Skins a good show? I've heard about it on several occasions, and your theme intrigued me.
