FireRed hack: Pokémon FireRed: Rocket Edition (Completed)

Did his post really need to be deleted? Sure, it could have come across as rude, but as far as I'm aware, "rude" posts aren't prohibited unless they serve no purpose. Colonelsalt's post was clearly meant to show his frustration and explain why the game had to be updated.

    FireRed hack: Pokémon Unbound [COMPLETED]

You're literally saying it's bad because you can't cheat. Why don't you try using better balls than Ultra Balls? You might find it easier. Ultra Balls are one of the worst balls you can use to catch legends.

FireRed hack: Pokémon Radical Red (VERSION 4.1 RELEASED! Gen 9 DLC Pokemon, Character Customization now available!)

If you want to play the hack for its features then you're playing it for the wrong reason. RR is a difficulty hack, not a feature showcase. If you want to experience features without worrying about difficulty, you'd be better off playing The Last Fire Red or Unbound on easy mode.

    FireRed hack: Pokémon Unbound [COMPLETED]

Save in front of a TV before signing off for the day, and the next day you play you can keep soft-resetting until you get the Pokemon you want.

    FireRed hack: Pokémon Unbound [COMPLETED]

There's something in the FAQ about the high quality music causing lags on some phones when fast forward is used. Maybe disabling the background music could help you too?

    FireRed hack: Pokémon Unbound [COMPLETED]

Having spoken to Skeli about this, I can answer some of your questions. In a real battle your opponent also sees your entire team at once and chooses the best lead (so you don't know 100% of the time what they'll lead with). You could argue that in that case the AI should be choosing a random...

    FireRed hack: Pokémon Unbound [COMPLETED]

Are you playing the dark version? I've played the game twice now and I have to say the light version is significantly less edgy than the light version I think Mr. Mime sometimes shows up as a swarm

    FireRed hack: Pokémon Unbound [COMPLETED]

I'm guessing you're playing on Expert/Hard then? You should read the FAQ. It says you're basically expected to switch up your team between boss fights for that difficulty.

[ASM & Hex✓] Fire Red: What is wrong with this ASM code

It's not compiling because line 4 in the function should be mov r1, #0xFF (your forgot the #). Additionally, even if you call this function from another function, the return value will be incorrect, as you discard the computed value at the end by popping r0. I recommend removing the line push...

Patch: MrDollSteak's Decap. and Attack Rombase

This is probably your best bet. It's not 100% accurate (in doubles if your multi target move is bounced, it won't hit the second opponent), but it's the best you're going to get. The post also describes how to make it compatible with this base.

You could also use this routine made by Squeetz: https://pastebin.com/fH4z4PCS It allows you to toggle the capturability of Pokemon by setting a flag.

[Other] Physical special split in pokeruby

May I recommend a different method? Instead of adding a field isPhysical to the strutc , just call the field something like moveSplit. If it's set to 0 the move is physical, 1 the move is special, and 2 the move is status. This is how it's handled in binary hacks and it works very well. You can...
