Agreed. I'll probably EV train my Pokemon as soon as I catch them because of it, just because. I won't use them online, but I might use them for battle facilities, which don't require perfectly IVed Pokemon.

Yeah...guess we'll be using that a lot more in these games. I know I will anyway; I'll probably try and get one of everything in my boxes again. I doubt DexNav will make random encounters any less wearing after a time, though...it'll just tell me ahead of time I'm encountering the same thing again.

Might make Ralts easier to get, too. Who knows...guess we'll have to wait and see.

Hmm...I guess if they're going to be strict about it, I'll use my old Ruby team again. Meaning I'll have the fun-filled hours of searching for a Ralts ahead of me. xD

In ORAS as well? Are the routes going to be the same as they were in R/S Pokemon-wise, or will they have more substance to them like X/Y?

Heh, I can't say I blame you there...Ralts was as aggravating to find in R/S as Pikachu was in R/B. I might not even use Ralts depending on what is on the routes, although I used one in Ruby.

Went well! I didn't do much for Halloween but I threw my boyfriend a birthday party that weekend and my birthday was really lovely and I got so many nice sentiments from my loved ones <3 It really made my day. Now I am celebrating my birthday weekend with my boyfriend and he's surprising me so I'm realllyy looking forward to it :3

Nah, I'll use a team I'll catch in the game. Well, I might run all three starters - I usually do the first time I start new gens - but I won't use anything from my other games.

I would love to show you both an effective Flash Fire Ninetales and Empleon in doubles sometime if you'd take me up on that challenge in X/Y sometime.

I wouldn't mind a Studio Ghibli DVD; either Princess Mononoke or The Cat Returns. Plus some cash. I have very few relatives, so I don't expect/hope for too much. I might buy myself a game later when I go and pick up my Diancie code; maybe Tears to Tiara II...

Not sure; I've not opened my presents yet. I just know I have two. I'm positive one of them is Lords of the Fallen on PS4. The other...eh, I dunno. xD

I'm going to go and see TMNT later this morning, do a bit of shopping afterwards, then come home and play my new games. My friends are scattered across the country and working, so it'll be relatively low-key and by myself, I think :3

That's a tad limiting though; because predictability is a huge factor in turn based games like pokemon.

Mate you *have* to understand that Smogon's way and that tier system, are only one way of playing the game. And even within that system; there are different ways to play it. And different styles and preferences that branch out even beneath that.

You can't expect to use the same key forced into every lock to open any door.

Not so much at your rates; since I know you know what you're talking about most of the time - as the way you were going about it. It didn't seem like you were listening to or actually engaging the guy so much as just shooting off rapid fire sets at him 20 at a time copy pasted from Smogon lol. He kept trying to tell you what he was going for; but you didn't seem to take interest in what he was trying to accomplish with the team...

I did say in the OP that we can't use things that aren't legitimately released yet, and ORAS doesn't come out until the 21st....but with all the reveals and data mining, we already know a lot of stuff, and like you said, they're already available for use on Showdown. I suppose it's fine to use stuff from ORAS that we know of. I'll go edit the OP then.
