  • Yeah, while I admit the change isn't as drastic compared to Mawile it does sorta fit given the two are version exclusives. I'm kinda hoping it can get a playstyle different from the usual Prankster Sableye so that way people may consider using the Mega.
    What do you think of Mega Sableye? It looks kinda interesting in that it uses a gem as a shield, so maybe I'm guessing it'll get a boost to Defense or something. Kinda hoping it gets a nice ability or else it gets overshadowed by its Prankster counterpart.
    I thought that they dropped Fire Blast's accuracy to 80% like they did Hydro Pump...I guess not >_<
    steven looks great as expected <333 may looks 10 though.. which i suppose isn't bad since she is supposed to be 10. but i guess this is the first time we truly had the young protagonist look their age, lol.
    There's just something about it that doesn't sit well with me. Maxie has always had the "smart guy" personality, at least in the anime, so glasses do somewhat suit him, but at this point I'd gotten soo used to his old design :[ i'm sure i'll change my mind though!
    May looks reallyyy young. First time we've really had a ten year old look ten, I guess haha. Magma and Aqua both look good but Maxie why do you have glasses it does not fit ;~~;
    Yeah, but you know how unexpected Game Freak can be these days. They throw quite a few curveballs in recent generations.
    Team Aqua being darker-skinned was unexpected for me, but I do love both teams having more awesome uniforms now. The male Aqua Admin does look really buff though, and seeing glasses on Maxie makes him look kinda nerdy but cool.
    Yeah, it seems like you gotta dig deep and you'll see the niches. Being a threat to Wash Rotom is definitely worth something because not only will it resist its attacks but it can also hit it back with a Grass move. The 4x weakness to Ice is the biggest downside though.

    And there won't be many options to be able to paralyze it, the only things I recall able to paralyze it will be Tri Attack, Freeze Shock (which have secondary paralysis effect) and also Thunder Wave if used by a Pokemon with the Normalize ability.
    I also just realized that Mega Sceptile will pose quite a threat to Wash Rotom, in that it resists both its STABs.
    Do you think I have a good point on Mega Sceptile, as stated here?

    I notice how it seems to share the same combined Stun Spore/Thunder Wave immunity as Mow Rotom, although in Rotom's case that's due to its own typing and not the aid from an ability. It'll be incredibly hard to inflict paralysis due to the immunity to a lot of the common paralysis-inducing moves.

    umm ok that was random but interesting. In the case of aegislash isn't that what actually happens? :> i mean after a stance change from defense to blade the 50<->150 and that is swapping.

    It's obv different and helps in not wasting a turn and directly changing the stats while attacking :>

    what got you on the subject?
