lol,wow maybe everyone not knowing about the quote thing is a blessing in disguise. XD.
I don't use much privacy programs, because (to my knowledge) those I knew about were pretty much like the no call list for telemarketers, completely optional and ignorable, as far as things like do not track. I usually just police myself, use ublock to get around things that try to force membership by witholding site access. (I don' use adblocker here though of course, lest I forget to turn it off).
I guess I only worry about privacy so much as what's linked to me, like I'm not too worried about my dns following me, mostly just membership sites that clearly want to track you everywhere and show you ads based on anything you even glance at. And make it hard for you to find the logout button...
So I avoid joining if I don't want to or feel I need to, and just use caution. and I used to use firefox, but they kept making changes to be more like google browser so it kind of turned me away from it.
Forums:
Oh yeah, you don't have to tell me that one, this place really is great, I started checking out forums and the like, after all the covid lockdowns started a while ago, and I started with reddit. Was good for about a month, then went real bad real fast lol. Met a few good people though so that was cool.
Then I tried a the official forum for the developer of that game,
people were nicer for the most part, but there's always those few no matter where you go.
Unfortunately the mods or rules there were a bit restrictive, to the point of censorship, so after giving up on that,
I found this place a while later.
and I haven't looked much into radical red, I know about it but I don't know how much it changed, in my mind I'm thinking something more akin to blaze black, but for fire red.
Actually you may be right about that, and thanks for the advice. :)
I'd like it to be received well, but I am mostly making it for me, the type of pokemon game I'd want to play.
I need to organize a bit better though, I'm checking things off my list(seeing if its possible and getting an idea of the how), but if I organized my ideas into an actual checklist
I could probably move a lot faster with my research.
I feel I've learned a lot though, so that's fun. I can make and add basic script now, I know the difference between binary hacking and decomp.
I know how to apply an asm routine, even if I don't know enough to make one yet.
and I'm starting to be able to read the source for code for the games.
