I wasn't even aware, because you are the only one so far who's told me about this :/ sorry about that. I just thought that if people end up liking the content and they want to support it, I'd have the Patreon link there for them...because as much as I've enjoyed putting together these series, support for them will be needed. Or is there a way that creators here can be supported which PC allows?

I'll go back to the thread and remove the Patreon link. As for the download links, I could've used the video links to my Bit Chute channel but I don't know if they would work. When I tried putting them while I was still under the entertainment section, the link would be changed haha not sure why. The download links don't lead to any dodgy side sites, people will go straight to the file on zippyshare and what they're looking for is what they'll get. So if people have been concerned, please let them know that they don't have to be. My hope is I can start becoming more of a regular poster by making Counting Electric Sheep a regular feature here, I'm just kept away mainly because of these powercuts and limited Internet access. But now that I've found the Anime/Manga section, I'll pop in there :)

Ruby!! Don't hit me with them nostalgia vibes hahaha damn, that is the game I built my love for the Pokemon games on :D how far have you gone in there? The last game I was playing was X but I put it on pause so I could work on the story idea...now that the idea is done and I've put it out for the community to decide whether or not it is worth having as a game, all I can do now is wait for feedback and maybe find a creator or team willing to work with me so the idea can be turned into something. But no luck so far, I've never done this sort of thing before haha so probably I did something wrong. I had hoped that there would be more interest since it is a new story, with room for new ideas, new characters, new region, cool references...and it's not another hack rom that's another remake of an official game, you know? No problem if it is a new story, new characters but set in familiar territory, but I just see too many remakes or games with "new twists" to what's already been done before. Where's the imagination? So yeah, I'm a little miffed haha but it is what it is, new idea or not.

I'll either go back to X or do the next best thing - find other hack roms that could use a neat walkthrough :) Pokemon Adventure Red Chapter Beta 14.5, done.....Pokemon Flora Sky (Complement Dex version)? Done and done. If there's nothing else I'll have to dive into the old timer emulators (NES, SNES, Sega etc) and get lost there haha

I'll just delete the thread and "reboot" it in the Anime/Manga section. Hopefully it will be much more at home there. Thought there would be no power today but we were lucky (glory be to the Power gods haha) so while it is still here, let me get to work :) here's hoping you're doing alright over there

When I wanted to setup the thread for Counting Electric Sheep, I wasn't sure whether to put it up in the Anime/Manga section or in the Music & Entertainment section...so I ended up going for the Music & Entertainment section since at the end of the day, it's music. But having gone through the A/M section I think maybe I should've gone there instead (^^!) *sigh* so um...how do I "cut" the thread from the M/E section and "paste" it to the A/M section? Or I'll have to delete the whole thread and start from scratch over at A/M??

Yeah, I'm keeping up with it. It's not too bad, just really slow to get things started, honestly. I'm liking it, it's really cute. Although, I'm not sure if it'll continue to be good. I'm mostly just watching it because it's slower paced than Ensemble Stars.

Rooibos is the one that made an impact here, I don't know of any SA green tea brands though haha hopefully you've been lucky enough to find them. I don't mind green tea, it's just that there's usually just regular tea in the house (unless mom brings home a surprise box of ginger tea).

I wouldn't blame you for not listening to regular music, given how a lot of the music out there these days (for many, many years) is garbage. Anime/video game music stays top quality, no matter from what years :) I spent the most time listening to the Pokemon video game OSTs while working on the story than any other OST before haha because there are specific themes that I was looking for that I think would go well with the various locations and characters. Now I can't stop those themes from randomly playing in my head haha the old man could come home from town and an Encounter theme starts! HELP!! So I'm curious to know, which anime/video game tracks do you like? Because guess what the theme for Counting Electric Sheep 4 is?? :D

You're right about Brotherhood, normally you can just recommend it to someone and they don't even need to bother with the original. But I think the appreciation of Brotherhood is completed once you've watched both :) if it was a case where the original wasn't well done, then yeah we'd just pretend it never happened haha. Could the same thing be said about Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT I wonder...because while it would be easy to watch DBZ and then go straight for the newer series Dragon Ball Super, you miss out on some of the cool things from GT e.g. the Super Saiyan 4 form and the villains.

Or the popular Rooibos tea?

Oh, I was definitely aiming for it to become a game from the very beginning :) to the point where I typed it in a similar style to the walkthroughs I've done for Pokemon Adventure Red Chapter Beta 14.5 and Pokemon Flora Sky (Complement Dex version). So it became part story, part "example of a walkthrough for the game version". Haha I'm no writer, much less of fan fiction but I think I can spin a decent story and this was just my attempt at doing that. Putting together all my experience from playing the official games and roms over the years to offer what I thought is something new. Because one thing I've become very critical about in games is the story and characters. We've talked about the recycling of the same plot again and again by many roms and I think in the later generations of the official games, the story and characters have gotten weaker. Grown to be less memorable. Doesn't matter that there's fancy new graphics and game mechanics if the story is rubbish haha. Am almost done reading through the story and making final sweeps...when I'm done I'll send you the link to it and I'll also drop it off by Launchpad. Hope people will dig it :D

I believe Brotherhood pretty much covered the whole manga, while the first anime ended with a filler arc...but I think the first one is still worth watching because it was that good. Not sure about anime/manga from the romance or comedy categories haha hmm..maybe School Rumble, that is another early one I saw. Action, adventure, battle driven stuff, that's my jam. But I don't mind decent slice-of-life drama titles e.g. Bakuman (story of 2 friends who aim to publish their manga in Weekly Jump magazine. Done by the same team who created Death Note). What about you? Haha, are you as picky with anime/manga as you are with music, hmm?

I highly doubt I'll get Discord, not because I dislike it...but because I had my social media fun and I guess I got tired of trying to keep up. FB was cool and hip for a couple of years, some of the online pals I made from there later on became real life friends. Everyone was into anime and manga, so there was always stuff to talk about...the jokes, the memes :) good times. Now people have scattered and life took over, as it always does haha I hardly use FB or Twitter for that matter. So I'm either offline or chatting with people on Whatsapp (yup, knowing that it is owned by FB now haha oh the irony..).

The situation with that one staff member has caused me a lot of fear. I'm scared of expressing myself on other sites till i know they are in the wrong, too. And i'm already going through a lot of hardships in real life. If the person is maybe not in the wrong, afterall, i still won't ever forgive them for making me feel hurt like this.

I even pmed them back, asking about that pm and telling them my general feelings. They never responded back.

This whole situation is fishy. I think I can detect a troll when I see one :( I'm a very sensitive person, afterall.

Under this season, I'm not sure if evening safaris are a good idea :/ I had hoped things would start warming up as we slowly move into July...but wow, there's been an upgrade in the chill these past few days haha doesn't matter if there's sunshine during the day. I'm sorry about you coming down with a cold, I would imagine any lemons that you may have in the house are now exclusively in your possession? If you're the type who doesn't mind tea, then you'd do well to have some in the meantime :) unless you're either already doing that or you've found better means to win the fight against the cold. I've been lucky enough not to have a cold (I've probably jinxed myself right there, ha) this winter...but the occasional runny nose. Made sure to be drinking lots of water, I guess that has helped. Otherwise I would've hijacked all the lemons!

It's fine, better with real life people than not. I just choose to extend that to online people as well, but those whom I've come to trust enough. I'm not always going to have internet for the computer but I make sure to be reachable via phone. I don't just give out my number, I'm a private person and I enjoy the peace and quiet that comes with not being on various platforms, with a bunch of "friends" and followers who are only strangers at the end of the day, many of whom I will probably never meet in person. So you can delete the PM with my number then, can't have it just sitting there gathering dust haha.

Despite the power cuts, I can give some good news - the story is finally done! Well, the version I've been writing on paper is done...what's left now is transferring to the Notepad document on the PC. Do I then bring it to you since you are an Admin here? Because my hope was I can pitch it here as an idea, with the hope that maybe I can find a rom creator or rom team who would like to help bring the story to life as a game for people to play :)

Both are good titles :) Death Note is what I would call a "starter pack" anime/manga series, as in it's one of the early series I would recommend to someone new to anime and manga. Start them off with the likes of DN, Fullmetal Alchemist (original and then Brotherhood), then they step up to the Big 3 (Naruto, Bleach, One Piece) and they're off to the races. Let them discover the big bosses like Attack on Titan and One Punch Man on their own down the road haha

One last thing, are you in touch with user Fairy? She was cool enough to be the first person here that I had great conversations with when I was new. But there was a point where she had to be away because of internet troubles. I responded to the last PM she sent me but I haven't heard from her since. I even sent her a public message on her profile, still nothing. If you can help and find out from her what's up, please do.
