Mom said she heard about something where people said that children with a mom and dad as opposed to either single parents or two of the same gender parents having a huge advantage in life. Rather than saying "try to stay together for your child", their response was "these kids should be brought down from that advantage and that they should be put in social services away from the "advantage"." :(

Yeah, I haven't been doing it much lately so I really need to get back on it. ^_^U It's kinda strange with just learning a new set of letters, but I can recognize a few now, which is really cool. :0

apparently my bf went to church and breakfast with his parents. *sigh* wish i would have known. i was awake too! at my new house we live by a church, but its very fancy!

sounds like we have totally different tastes in games. D8 My boyfriend likes those types of games too but I'm awful at them and find them scary. My reaction times are very slow and I always will end up dragging people down so I just.. don't really bother with it.

ohh I dislike shooting games, also don't like games focused on cars, zombies, gore, and etc so.. that knocks out a lot of things. Never even heard of that one before. :( if I did I totally forgot. my tastes are so different than most people's nowadays!

yes i am. i usually go to church every sunday, but for the past 3 weeks i haven't been. i always go with my bf, but im not sure why he hasn't gone. i think it's because he keeps sleeping in since he wakes up so early to go to work everyday.

good. i got up early today. been trying to wake up at 10 am everyday.

My day was good, sat at home most of the day because weekend wahey. and went to GameStop to buy Puzzle and Dragons & Mario for the 3DS.

aww that's so cute. that's like when i did vacation bible camp. i took them around the camp. then the other year i was teaching then.

aww..well you just have to make them feel comfortable and give them extra special attention. it's important to make them comfortable and give them the stuff they need at the same time.

We aren't really familiar with Hebrew, me and my sister are learning a little bit of the language though. For the most part, it's just my mom lookinv it up and finding enough out about something so she knows it's true.

I believe so too. :0 This year is 5775 iirc, and there a lot of evidence pointing to this Feast of Trumpets as the Rapture. One being the guy who did the Star of Bethlehem research also checked recent years for the end and found a lot in the stars that lines up with Revelations. Not Astrology crud, real Classical Astronomy. :)

I used to go to a private catholic school from K-2. I didn't enjoy it. Strict rules and most of the teacher's were mean. I've enjoyed my public school much more.

I'm not a fan of it. The idea I think is to promote critical thinking, but it just asks irrelevant and confusing questions. One of the big things is just supporting all of your answers. Most of our teachers don't like it either. I know in New Jersey there was a large number of parents who actually opted their kids out of taking the test.

Not on X and Y or OMAS, but I do get on the Showdown server sometimes. I'm not too great but it's fun.

My whole family loves reading through Revelations and searching for stuff about the rapture and all that. My mom has a lot of time especially for this. When we read something new in the Bible, she looks up the original Hebrew or Greek of it and checks to see if it's a Hebrew idiom or the like because we could interpret it wrong if you don't understand, right? If you looked up the original wording of "only my Father knows", it's a direct reference to the old Jewish weddings:
The groom would come and ask for her hand in marriage, then give her a gift as a promise to return. He'd then go to work for hew father for whatever her price was, sometimes for years at a time. Then once he'd pay her off, he'd have to wait for his father to come and say "it's time for the wedding".
After Jesus ascended, he gave the gift of the Holy Spirit and promised to return some day. Before he left, he said "No one knows the day or the hour", which was the word for the Feast of Trumpets ala new year. Then he said "only my Father knows", as a reference to that.

Sorry if this sounds really jumbled, I get excited when trying to tell about this to others....

ooh, that's not bad at all! But I'd still love to be paid because money. :( they kept telling us we'd need like 50 community service hours to graduate high school but no one did them and we all graduated haha. scare tactic.

And I majored in communications so I'm looking to get into human resources or public relations. fingers crossed!

No, we just have our stupid placement testing. I will have to take them for math, science, and Spanish next year though. Does Florida have the Common Core/PARCC?
