Aw ♥♥♥♥. To watch the Hijikata arc (known as the Shinsengumi crisis arc), you need to have seen Benizakura arc. The one covered in the movie. So just watch 186-187 for now I guess. Or watch episodes 98-99 for some hilarious parodying of Wii/RPG games/eroge lol.

Don't watch ep 119 till you've seen dbz then lol. Or have seen a fair bit of the story and are familiar with all the characters. Just won't be funny :p

Oh, and in case you want to watch the arc where sougo 'dies' (lol yeah read your post), it is episode 186-187. Watch it, it is hysterical lmao.

I think you should watch the first movie now. Its called Gintama Benizakura Chapter. :D Sheds a little light on Gintoki's past, has amazing action and focuses on Gintoki, Katsura and Shinsuke Takasugi - three of the 'heroes' of the rebellion war against aliens.

Wait have you seen DBZ?! IF YES, there's one episode you HAVE to see lmfao! Episode 119.

Maybe Kagura? Or Hijikata - the cigarette police guy? Or Katsura - the terrorist who hangs around with that weird alien duck thingy? Or a completely new character ?

What kind of arc do you want to watch next? Super hilarious and non serious arc? Serious and action-heavy arc? Or more of Okita Sougo? Any other character you want to see an arc on? :p
