That's a common sentiment. He really has no counter per se. If you are using a defensive character, buying mystical mail should allow you to see him if his invisible and near you. Purification helps you get out of his ult. Otherwise, stun him/root him and try to kill him before he kills you first.

Definitely! Bellona counters basically all hunters, Sobek counters Bellona, Poseidon counters Isis, etc.

Sure! Poking is doing little damage consistently to wear down an opponent's health. Burst, on the other hand, is doing a lot of damage in little time.

Feeding is dying a lot to opponents, which gives them a lot of xp and gold, getting them ahead. It can be intentional or not.
