    My title gives away...

    well, nothing, really. XD At the very conception of the story, HWIMAR actually referred to Dagger, who was going to be far more subtle. Then after the prologue, I had a different idea. XD;

Lol nice. Okay well to clarify, one word in the title gives away his choice in pokemon... As to which I'm not gonna say XD (and it's not Dialga or Celebii).

The funny thing is, it was a bit of a coincidence XD (okay well so was the naming chapter thingy too, but, it's all good XD)

    New question:

Have you accidentally taken the plot of your fic the wrong way or another way than you originally expected, but kept it like that, because of either reviews, or your liking to it?

Not accidentally, but I have changed my mind a few times about the direction of the fic, intentionally. (Of course, when I do that, I go back to make sure that it is consistent with everything that has already happened.)

Four words: A Midsummer Knight's Dream.

And another bold topic, inspired by the recent discussion, which I figured could be expanded into a general to-do:

What do your fic titles mean? (Spoiler tags may be used for the cautious. Vague hints work too.)

A mentor is basically what Leah is supposed to be and being one (even unwillingly) is what gets her on a journey in the first place.

Well no actually. But the Main reason it takes so long to write the chapters of TCNG is that I'm constantly generating new ideas and I keep going back to change it. So yeah, partially.

The Chronicles of Neo Groudon. It represents a historic or significant event in Groudon's life that generally affected others. So basically it means just that. Though, chronicles is usually used for 'past' historic events. So sue me, I can't change the title.

The nickname for the central antagonist of the plot. The origin of it has not yet been explored in the fic (although I've fleshed it out in my head). Nothing particularly special or deep. :P

Don't know how many times I changed the plot of NE. XD; And yes, it's of both reviews and me liking it.

    Oh my I'm back again!

    Checking on bold topics...

If each of your human characters was suddenly turned into a Pokémon, which Pokémon would they like being the least?
I haven't exposed my characters' personalities too much, but WTH no one is going to fictionally die here... except Bill, a couple of times, maybe?

Darius is a person who definitively likes going around and enjoying the day. A Pineco or anything with low movility he definitively wouldn't like.

As for Lou, he is someone who likes to look at things from afar. I guess he'd definitively despise being turned into any Pokémon in the "cute" (oh the unwanted attention), but what he'd really hate would be being a Rattata, a Hoppip, or anything that lives in groups.

Not yet. It would feel kinda wried to do I guess?

"Elusive Goals": the title is a bit of foreshadowing on the characters: sometimes we are too busy trying to take part of everything that happens around us, that we lose track of what we can, want or need to do.
    Spoiler:

"Sixth": the life story of a fossil Pokémon, namely...
    Spoiler:

Too many good good coincidences resulted in that name. And to thing I was to go for something far more complicated...

Again, I'm only answering the questions posed in the last twenty-five responses of this thread. I am also answering only the questions that I would like to answer.

Have you accidentally taken the plot of your fic the wrong way or another way than you originally expected, but kept it like that, because of either reviews, or your liking to it?
The way that my plot goes is always a surprise to me, due to the fact that I don't fully plan things out. There are times, though, that I do expect for the story to start heading down one direction, and something always causes it to go in an unexpected way.

What do your fic titles mean? (Spoiler tags may be used for the cautious. Vague hints work too.)
Loyalty: The main character has to figure out where her loyalties lie.
Lucidity: "Lucidity" means "understanding", and the two main characters learn to understand one another.

Last one is in a spoiler because if you know the fandom and season of said fandom I'm writing about, then the plot makes more sense.

    Spoiler:

As one can see, I've been thinking more about the last fic compared to the other two.

About one chapter in to Metal Coat, the plot changed entirely. This meant that The Group had to start off in Snowpoint and not Pastoria, which led to... interesting methods of minor hypnosis on a wild Pokémon's part. It actually came from me writing up chapter one at eleven o'clock at night and, having just drank about three cans of Coke and forgetting I was writing a chapter, formulated an entirely new ending to the story. I'll just say the current version is much better than the last one.

New question! Because I was bored. ;D

When did you start writing Fiction? (Not to be confused with when you got serious with writing or when you had to do essays for your English class)

Metal Coat isn't referring to the item that Scythers use to evolve into Scizor...

    {Spoilers for the second chapter ahead!}

Hey, it's better than 'The Galaxy Key', which was another product of my eleven-o'clock-PM writing spree.

To answer my own questions (because I'm an egotist)...

What do your fic titles mean? (Spoiler tags may be used for the cautious. Vague hints work too.)

    A Midsummer Knight's Dream
It's a play on words (no pun intended) between the organization of the fic and Shakespeare's play. It also alludes to the main theme of the story, as partially told in the prologue of the fic. ("All the world's a stage, and all the men and women, merely players." Also, a certain soliloquy in The Tempest that makes Cesario's recitation make sense.) To be specific, the Knight in question is Viola, and the dream is her actual motivation. I've implied she's in it for more than just boredom, but what she wants is, well, yet to be revealed.

    Anima Ex Machina
Also a play on words. It's Latin for "spirit from the machine" (although if you know your Jungian archetypes, it goes a bit deeper than that), and it's a reference to both "deus ex machina" and "ghost in the machine." In short, it's actually a very convoluted reference to Bill. (More him than the other Ixodida, really, not because he's a rogue but more because it's a pun on the fact that he's also a Steel-type.)

When did you start writing Fiction? (Not to be confused with when you got serious with writing or when you had to do essays for your English class)

I can't honestly remember. I recall playing out stories (with dolls and such) since I was a kid, and I think my first story that wasn't actually part of a school assignment might have been typed up when my family first got a computer back in 1994.

Well, I'm guessing I started writing around age thirteen-fourteen. I don't really remember any details, but I do remember the story I started with was an awful Harry Potter fanfic.

Not quite. A couple of times, reviewers have misunderstood something in a way that gave me ideas. And the plot of The Quest for the Legends has been modified dramatically, but that was very deliberate. Morphic was originally intended to be more humourous than it ended up, but that's not precisely a plot thing.

What do your fic titles mean? (Spoiler tags may be used for the cautious. Vague hints work too.)
"The Quest for the Legends" means "I AM A SILLY WRITER WHO MAKES BAD TITLES THAT GIVE AWAY THE VERY OFF-PUTTING FACT THAT THERE WILL BE LOTS OF LEGENDARY-CAPTURING IN THIS STORY."

"Morphic" is an adjective I picked up from reading a Mary-Sue test specific to Pokémorph fanfics, referring to the state of being a Pokémorph. I just thought it was a kind of a fun word and it also makes for a title that sounds like "Morph fic", which is pretty appropriate for a Pokémorph deconstruction kind of thing. And kind of like "More fic", too.

I've been making up stories in my head and playing them out for as long as I can remember, often quite epic ones where everybody died and was resurrected several times. I suppose the first one I actually wrote was for school when I was six; we were supposed to write a story and I wrote one about a princess who found a horse named Faxi (Icelandic Generic Horse Name #1). Though the first I wrote without outside motivation was written in Denmark when I was seven into two little Toy Story notebooks that I still own, much to my amusement. It was about a totally different horse named Faxi whose father was dying except not and then he got caught by humans but was saved by a tiger and a stone got stuck in his eye but then it fell out and then he found a female horse named Snow White who he immediately loved and had a foal with, who then got kidnapped by two other horses who were actually just using him as bait to get Faxi into a trap so they could enslave him to carry their foals around, but then Snow White came and rescued them and the story abruptly ended.
