Kudos to the people who have replied with 'I agree'. But I think there's been, oh, one of them. :|

I just don't understand it. It's so disheartening to see teenagers posting things like "lol girls belong in the kitchen" or "women do have equal rights, duh!" They're our future damnit ;__; I just want to cast a lil' spell so that they all wake up as women in third world countries tomorrow, and see if they still agree with their own assessments. :/

Haha, yeah, I think I converted to optimism over the past couple years, too. I guess it's only natural if you grow up in a lame, samey place with nothing that makes you feel worthwhile and then leave the nest to go be someplace awesome that's full of awesome and varied people :3
