Well yes, I s-p-r-i-t-e. I've got some skill (or I fancy) and the simplest task for me will be to convert an image into a 64x64 sprite (like you!) and uh... well, nothing else useful. I think Anbuja can vouch for me but I'll send you over a POW if you're interested tomorrow!

I'm trying to use the movesprite command and it does nothing. I have it set on the 03 level-script and everything else works fine except for movesprite. Is there some variable I need to set or something?

That sprite...while it could be funny in the right hack (like, say, as a Lass sprite in a game that is primarily comedic) I don't think it's proper as a player character. It's a young woman in an embarrassing position; which may be fun if you're a straight guy, but from the perspective of my feminist-leaning self it's a bit unnecessary. Why is she flashing her ass and panties? Is the male hero thrusting his groin out in a similar manner to give us ladies something to admire? It's unlikely he is and that's a double standard (note: I don't actually want the male sprite to be doing that! XD it's just a comparison to demonstrate my point. I know most gamers - and by far most ROM Hackers - are dudes, but far too often game developers take that to mean male PCs are "default" and females are "eye candy," hence why female armor is often so patently ridiculous in MMOs and "jiggle physics" are even a thing. And it's almost always only the female characters who have to deal with this...to this girl at least it's tiresome). Lastly, the story is fairly serious and the sprite unfitting simply for that reason (to me at least). It IS well-sprited, though; and I certainly have no ill-feelings towards the creator. :)

Of course, this is simply one girl's opinion and I accept I could be a minority. It's a bit degrading to play the game as a sexual joke, though, IMO. ^^'

Hey karatekid552! Can you look at this patch? It's a Physical/Special/Status Split system I made with Darth's Split Image Implemented. Can you check out if the Physical/Special thing is working out how it should be? I don't know how to differentiate and test it. :P

That's awesome. I look forward to seeing it ! I think even if it's not deliberately jokey as the first one was, just the idea of everything mutating into Derpizards is a great concept. It sounds as though it will be a great comic but also serious and well done hack at this stage.

Fair enough! Working on your hack is more important! What kind of ASM is this? Routines to show mutation? Or just various little things to make it more fun. I look forward to it, I found the first one a scream :P
