Alienware has the cheapest price out of all the gaming brands at a little over the 1k mark, but their track record is a bit iffy with support and reliability. Yeah, the 2015 Blade is looking great with that 4k 14" screen. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that they drop the price a bit for Christmas season, because it is the only downside I see with that laptop.

Do you have any suggestions in terms of brand? A decent one for around $1000 or less will do. I was considering the 2015 Razer Blade or the MSI GE40, but both of those are way up there when it comes to price.

how might i do absolute postitioning? like just give me an example and ill try it cause i wanna try a multi color background on it and it wont look good with the dots haha

I'd make my own custom build build for a desktop, but I'm looking at gaming laptops atm for the sake of portability. I'd like one that can handle some of the newer games at a manageable framerate.

Yeah I like the mix of electronics with more "real" instruments. I'm also not a fan of electronic drum sounds, I prefer raw acoustic drums, but that could also stem from being a drummer :P
