It was pretty damn good if you don't mind me saying. They really played Eddie Redmayne in such a way you really felt like he was disgusted that he was a man and thought of himself as a woman (I use himself because the actor is ofc a cis man). However I didn't like that they portrayed Lili as a completely separate person, perhaps I don't know much about transgenderism but I suspect people don't become completely different people when they "realize" they're not the right gender. The artistry and cinematography was great. Eddie really made me feel like he was uncomfortable in his male body. There's a part where he's naked and you see him shove his penis inbetween his legs and I thought that scene in particular really drives home the idea of not wishing to be male.
