Out here I haven't got many opportunities to watch the anime, but I actually downloaded the episode in which she cut it tonight, I'm curious to see why she did it! I like her either way, although I noticed my avy here, my phone and laptop wallpapers all feature her with long hair...*sigh* I'd like her to stick around, she's the reason I've enjoyed what I've seen of the XY series so far. I wonder if her hair will grow back out, never considered that before!

WHAT?! HOW DARE YOU!!!! XD I'm just teasing obviously! Yer I admit it's pretty unbalanced, although I tend to choose favourites over types (plus I sometimes choose to have Charizard Mega Evolve ;) ) My new team is even more unbalanced, I'm raising all 6 water starters :P

The thylacine wasn't just a Tasmanian animal, it died out on the mainland before the British Settlers arrived though. As for natural selection, it definitely wasn't natural selection that killed off the thylacine I'm not quite as sure about the tasmanian devil though. It'd be sad to see such an iconic Australian animal die out, but at the same time this is a natural thing going on right now.

A for how Tasmania would manage without them, I'm not sure but it is a mistake to assume there would be an absence of predators.

I know all about the cancer, it's been tearing into the population for years. The trouble here, is that the environment on the mainland has already adapted to be without devils. They're either going to bring their cancer with them onto the mainland or eat a bunch of cane toads and die anyway.

I highly doubt it. There's not enough time for an arc like that when the writing staff and producers could just use the overused filler plots that involve Team Rocket instead of an arc like that.
Besides I'd rather amourshipping was dropped or killed off and I'd skip an arc like that as shipping has no point in being in this show.
