I can guarantee that with how far you're going with uni, a job will be waiting for you on the other side. No decent company is going to walk away from opportunity like that - they can pay you less than a veteran employee and still get all the benefit of a fresh, motivated, and talented person lmao

Well, we got done with the move and we're setting up the house! It's very humid here, so that's something to get used to, but it's pretty cool here being close to the ocean, and getting to know a new place.

If you want to know specifically, then you would use high school/college/university, or something along those lines, but if you already know how far the education is, then people tend to just use school as a blanket term for it.

Not as much an aside as you might think. That was the telescope that the article (written back in the beginning of July) was about.

Okay, so I thought I found a news article related to the problem you're having with these interviews. The article was about a giant radio telescope in China, and they couldn't find anyone to run the telescope. The requirements were too high.

Article was fake, but it reminded me of the struggle you're going through.

We're going to be in Virginia, and he's definitely just ready to be done with the process, haha. He's been stressing about the house because the sellers are dragging their feet with everything, but hopefully they're almost done.

I'm going to be moving in with Geoff, as he's buying a house and offered me a room. He's flying out here and we're going to take a cross country road trip together, stopping and doing various things along the way.

That blows about the interviews. :/ That seems to be a problem that's cropping up more often these days. I can understand places wanting more experienced people working for them, but no one can get experience if they're not hired. Shame. But keep trying!

Skype message did send! On the night that you sent it, my phone was on the other side of the house. Then it was in another room different from the one I was in. Then I had the day off from work, and dismissed the notification as I was doing stuff on my phone. Then I was just really dumb and forgot about it.

Or we can go with the excuse that my mind is permanently in the Minato ward of Tokyo back in April 2002. That works.
