ohhh gotcha! i understand D: yeah it is a bit daunting, overall i think the community is great but as with p much all video games there are some jerks... the game allows for cross-server play but sadly not cross-data center (yet?), but if you decided to remake your character on primal i'd be happy to play with you! dungeons and stuff are synced so higher level players can do them as well! plus i have some classes to level as well

ooh yeah thaumaturge becomes black mage at level 30, which is extremely fun and good! i'm not too familiar with crystal because its a newer data center, but there's a discord dedicated to it here, i'm not sure if zalera has one... there's a lot to ffxiv so its hard to have a beginner's guide so to speak, but r/ffxiv's FAQ has some good info in it definitely! i'm not sure if you use twitter but xiv has a pretty active twitter community as well!

oooh okay, i'm on primal/lamia but yeah if you need any tips or anything feel free to ask! :D what level are you? and what class? the beginning of the game is a bit of a slog but it does definitely pick up
