Actions and choices that will alter your character's Alignment are indicated by text colour.
This allows you to influence your character's personality, which in turn, will influence Avlarian citizens' opinions on you!


  • Green text indicates a choice that will give you Good alignment points.
  • Red text indicates a choice that will give you Evil alignment points.
  • Blue text indicates a choice that will give you Lawful alignment points.
  • Orange text indicates a choice that will give you Chaotic alignment points.

Instead of random encounters, wild Pokémon are found walking, flying, swimming, and even bouncing around Avlar's routes, forests, caves and waters. Some are friendly and approach, many are cautious and retreat, and some others are hostile and will pick a fight to protect their territory!

So, the meaningful updates are finally being showcased on PC as well. I find Alignment System not only appreciably amusing but also tedious and tricky as hell. Hope it's not giving you much headache in the scripting and other processes! All the best...

For some reason there are a lot of grammar problems that pop up when I talk to some npc, sentences run together and the word pokemon shows up a lot and also has a bunch of gibberish along with it

But so far I love the idea of being a evil seeker, lol. Great game, Avara

You might be playing a deprecated version of MOT mate! The current version, which is a decomp reboot of MOT hasn't been released yet and is still in the pipeline. It is coming out nicely nonetheless and is jam-packed with amazing new features!! You can check out the latest MOT updates on its discord server if you would like to. The link is in the OP.​

As some of you have probably guessed, MoT includes time-based features inspired by Pokémon Crystal. Aside from differences in the overworld, some Pokémon only appear in the wild in the morning, during the day, at night time or even during specific hours. The time of day also affects some business hours and a few missions are only available at certain times.

In addition to time, MoT also features Seasons. Academy students graduate in the first week of the new year and Avlar's Championship Tournament falls on New Year's Eve, so you'll see all the seasons throughout your journey. Seasons affect some wild Pokémon - such as Ice-types in the winter - and also have an effect on weather and trainers you can battle in routes.

Items that you can find on the ground have their own unique overworld icons. Some people are careless and accidentally drop items from time to time when passing through well travelled routes, so be sure to keep an eye out! There might be an item lying around the second or third time you visit an area that wasn't there before.

Oh, meaningful MoT updates are back again, huh? MoT, no doubt, has a bustling Discord, but it's good to see some love being shared at PC as well! ; )

The time and seasonal change features are nothing short of dazzling. The overworld looks so beautiful and vibrant. Let me recapitulate some core MoT features, namely Careers, Alignment system, Time, Seasons, Secret Bases, Overworld wild encounters, Option for EV distribution, Beautiful interiors, lush overworld, branching storylines and so on; apparently, it's raining features in MoT! You guys are doing a wonderful job. Wishing you the best of luck with the project and definitely looking forward to an initial release!

P.S. The Text box and HP box are looking gorgeous!​
