Where do I find the link to beta 3.0?
Right now I'm playing beta 2.1 and noticed some old game design from pokemon gold like within all gyms.
I found a few videos on youtube showing some new graphics in gyms, why is that?
I couldn't find any link to a more recent version of this pokemon hack.

I would like a link to Beta 3 aswell. I think they were removed due to bugs

beta 3 was released to a few people as linkandzelda wasnt planning on finishing it, however it was very buggy (kept crashing at first rival encounter for me)

Hmm, and what witch flying position in kanto region? It's impossible to fly to Pallet town and some other places... Can I give you some ideas about storyline or something for next releases (I mean some events on orange island)?

from what i read a while ago some of the fly spots had to be taken off of the non necessary places due to the lack of them in the base FireRed rom

Well, I think that it should be fixet, of course if is it possible...I found some new "bugs". Some pokemons don't have a description in dex for example caterpie, pidgey...

Beta 2.1 includes full Kanto and Johto, as well as up to the first Orange Islands Gym Leader. As for playing it on GPSPhone, the current beta won't work. When you awaken the beasts (Rakou, Entei, Suicune) the game will crash and the event is mandatory to proceed since it is a Crystal remake. I already tried it. But it will work on Visual Boy Advance and GPSP (well at least till the 8th gym on GPSP, not sure about the rest cause I didn't get that far, should work perfectly fine on VBA)

EDIT: Silver's Kadabra at Victory Road still freezes on the PSP, but I went on the right side and it worked fine.
On the left side, it froze when he sent out Kadabra. Don't know if it was just luck but that's how I got past it. Just beat the Elite Four, didn't find any bugs in the E4 challenge, also beat Brendan (no bugs)

EDIT2: Got 3 badges in Kanto, but I found a way around the GPSPhone crash. I just uploaded my GPSP save file and downloaded it on my iPod and now I'm on Cycling Road in Kanto. =P I wish I thought of that earlier.

Well I'm playing on v-bag in my phone and there is no problem with game...

I've just finished the full beta on Androïd Emu Gameboïd, I got no bugs at all.

For the little story I never played GBC cristal . So a full remake with GBA
graphics was tempting!
To be honest i didn't read the full description of this hacked rom.

I got stuck in the team static headquarter (you know with all thoses teleporters).
So I decided to have a look at a soluce on the net... then I said to myself :
"wait... why aren't they talking about team static anywhere?"
Then I realised that the whole story regarding team static was totaly fan-made!

It's so amasing how it fits perfectly in the game!

Congratulation ! I look at this thread, like a lot of us, everyday!

Beta 2.1 question

Hi guys,

I've played the LC beta 2.1 and first of all
i'd like to say this is thé best POKéMON hack I've played!
(Trust me I've played a load of them!;))
I've found little bugs that really disrupted the game and made a detailed
report on them.
Also, I took the liberty of fixing most of the bugs in the version I own
and I replaced BYCICLE with POKéRIDE and worked that into the story.(You know, riding a PKMN?)
!!I DID THESE THINGS FOR MY OWN PLEASURE AND I HAVE NO INTENTION
AT ALL OF RELEASING THIS "edit" OF LINKANDZELDA's HACK!!!

Again, this hack is a masterpiece and none other then LINKANDZELDA and his TEAM should get credit for this.

BUT,

I have just one question..
You state that in this beta the player is able to travel until
the first gym of the ORANGE ISLANDS and I can see that's true
using ADVANCE MAPS.
So after completely beating the game and getting my TICKET stamped
by OAK, I went down to VERMILLION and tried to take the FERRY.
Now, when the sun shines in VERMILLION, I'm able to sail to OLIVINE
and vica versa when it's dark in OLIVINE but I wasn't able to go to
the ORANGE ARCHIPELAGO.
After many hours of reading LC walktroughs and viewing all the related youtube clips, I found out I had to make it rain in VERMILLION CITY!
Next problem came up.. how did I make it rain in VERMILLION?
Also searched online for the answer, watched dozens of clips made by people who WERE able to get there but no result!
I only get SUNSHINE, SNOWFLAKES AND BIT DARK as wheater types constantly..

Can anyone help me out here?
I'd love to finish 2.1 before 3.1 comes out so I can continue the story smoothly.

ok i found a glitch!!!! in the rocket hideout in mohagony on the latest beta, next to the grunt that tells you slowpoketail is the password, there is a scientist, who if you talk to, th text says PA'T constantly and is pretty mutch frozen so you have to reload.

Yeah I've had that too.
Just delete the sprite from the game or change it's script and it should work fine

It been a while since I last checked this thread, but to my knowledge beta 3.1 will not include all of the orange islands, and I do think it will not be possible to be able to include another region because of space constraints.
