Structure
Welcome! This is a double-elimination tournament that is being held for reasons stated in the below spoiler. Don't worry too much about winning or losing. Instead the importance lies in completing your battles. If you don't finish your battles, you may not be allowed in the main event. Use this as a chance to practice! If I feel that this tournament is extending PCL for far too long than it needs to be, I will cut it short. I don't want to put everyone through an unnecessary amount of padding before the main event, so feel free to speak any concerns.

Rules
・Use PC's battle server. You may use Smogon's server if you have a team with Pidgeotite or Steelixite, but our server will allow them soon.
・OU, Ubers, UU, RU, NU, PU, and LC of any generation are allowed for your battle if both you and your opponent agree to it. Avoid formats that aren't on the battle server (e.g. RBY LC). SM OU is the default format to fall back on.
・Double elimination (and only one finals match)
・Best of one (one battle per round)
・Post the replay in this thread.
・No extensions
Scheduling
・You are expected to log on PC at least once every day and respond to your opponent during that time.
・Visitor/profile messages must be used for scheduling.
・When sending the initial message, offer time frames that work for you and preferably mention your time zone. If no times work and all possible options have been exhausted, contact Choice Specs or me immediately.
・Schedule a specific time and date.
・If your opponent isn't there at the scheduled time, try to wait at least ~30 minutes.
・Use this thread to keep me updated on how the scheduling is going.
