    RULES

    • Follow all PokéCommunity and Pokémon Clubs Rules; Your membership application can be rejected if you don't follow the rules and guidelines;
    • Be Respectful; If you are disrespectful to the other members, you will be weeded out from this club like a withered plant.
    • Only Grass-type related topics and conversation
    • If you wish to post a new topic, follow these simple requirements:
    1.) Make sure the topic is interesting for discussion.
    2.) The topic at hand must be relatively inactive for you to post a new one; please give people at least 48 hours from the last response to post.
    3.) Finally don't just post a topic and not be a part of it; if you want to create a new topic, be active about it!
    • Have fun and stroll around!
    • Members can be only partnered with basic or baby forms of Grass-type Pokémon at the beginning. However, this does not include Legendaries or basic Pokémon with a Mega Evolution and Shiny Pokémon. Through meeting certain conditions, members can have as many Pokémon as they gain! Members are free to evolve their partners once they reach certain amount of posts or number of likes.
    Members do not have to evolve their Pokemon when they reach the required objective. Members may leave Pokémon in their unevolved form if they wish.

    Who is your favorite Grass type Gym Leader and why?
    I would say Erika. Although she isn't very difficult to defeat if we happen to have some fire- or ice-type Pokémon on our team (this is how it is for almost all gym leaders, really, only with different typing and whatnot), she could still pull off a decent challenge if we do not. This is one thing that I like about her--her difficulty.

    I might have seen her a couple of times in anime before, but... can't exactly remember much regarding her appearances, unfortunately. Definitely would have been nice if I were able!

    Hey Peitharchia! Glad you could join us here :). I too share your opinion, Erika is my favorite grass-type trainer as well. Her status effects gives me an ulcer if I allowed her to set up, which only takes a single turn really lol. Looking forward to seeing you here!

Yes I totally agree, Erika is so freakin' great, she has style and she's strong too. Only if you let her set up which only takes a turn or two. What makes you like Treecko so much? :o

    • Ok people let's liven this place up, shall we? I put up a new topic of the week so please use it if you are at a loss for words.

    In response to the topic, I feel that the Grass-type should have a more versatile type changing move. What I mean by that is other types have a move that forces the opponent to change its typing. For example water has "soak", and Trevenant has "Forest's Curse" that is only exclusive to it. Soak can be used by multiple water types so I would want Forest's Curse to do the same or have another move altogether.

    Hello, fellow Grass-type Club members! As Quajutsu says, I'm the current owner of this garden due to the owner no longer being active here since late May.

    Please to meet everyone, you can call me Unapologetic or Sunflower Guy, which I'm cool to either one! Let's give our very best for this relatively new club, show the others out there what we got! ;)

    I never really had any struggles with Grass-types, but I recall Gardenia's Roserade smashing me badly the first time I played Diamond. I guess it was because I had the wrong team to handle it, but on subsequent D/P/Pt playthroughs I always carried a Staravia by the time I got to her so she became much easier, along with the fact I was getting smarter.

    Gardenia's Roserade gave my Prinplup a hard time during my initial play as well! But my Staravia saved the day for us. :)

    Grass-type Pokémon can be nasty to battle with, for example the classic and well known SubSeed-tactic. Despite having the most weakness, if they are used carefully and with smart tactics, those who underestimate them is going to pay the price!
