Story Sprint
For the third of our special 24 hour events, we're asking you to get creative. Think of this as a... stranger version of Small Writing Contest, because you'll be writing your stories as teams.

The way this works is as follows:

  1. You will be contributing to your tribe's story one sentence at a time. The same person may not add twice in a row.
  2. All four stories are being made in this same thread, so make sure you include the previous additions as well as your own update in your posts (this means that the final post for your tribe will include the entirety of the story you have written).
  3. You will be judged by a panel consisting of a kahuna from each tribe. There is no formal criteria for judgement beyond personal enjoyment. It's fine if you don't make it all the way to the end of the story but you're encouraged to try.
  4. The story must be about your tribe's Tapu.

The best story wins a Tapunium Z worth 250 points. Have fun!

They say the Guardians of Alola are hard to find. Yet where a hot, electric battle is found, wham. Hard to shroud a deity in mystery when you're caught with the brunt of its force ? sent sprawling across the sand.

Long time ago, in deep dark ocean, something was born. The inhabitants of Poni Island noticed a dense fog moving to the shores. Days went, but the fog stay, surrounding whole island and cutting it away from the rest of Alola. Huge waves from the ocean also began to form, blocking ships from entering and leaving. People of the Poni Island were scared.

(HI LELE PEEPS, story will be in our DCC & on Discord so feel free to c/p from there!)

To: Akala Island Residents.

You're lost, child; you've come running into a battle that you aren't ready for.

Kahuna Zemanahrad sought council from the island elders, who advised him that braving the fog was his only hope for finding a way to heal Elder Bay.

To those who have chosen to remain on our island:

Tapu Lele continues to laugh as it assaults our beautiful island home of Akala.
Paniola Town, once an humble home for Paniola Ranch residents, is now abandoned.

It's time we stop Tapu Lele. It's time we take back Akala.
