Name: Riell McNotFake
Gender: Female
Age: Appears to be 11, give or take a year. Actual age is uncertain but still young.
Species: Ditto, masquerading as a person.

Partner: Ralts (Male, Telepathy) - Teleport, Psychic, Life Dew, Charm
Thanks to his telepathy, this nameless Ralts makes the perfect partner Pokemon for a Pokemon pretending to be a person. It removes the need for verbal communication that would give Riell away.

Appearance: In her true form, Riell appears as an amorphous pink blob with a smile. She's a Ditto. That is what they look like.

In her human guise, Riell takes the form of a girl she happened to see on a computer screen through a window one time, although since she goes by memory it's probably not a perfect recreation. She takes the shape of a blonde girl with curly hair, roughly 4'5" in height (it's a little inconsistent)) with blue eyes. There is frequently, but not always, a faint pink streak through her hair (much to her annoyance). She favours clothes in shades of blue and green but doesn't have a distinct stylistic preference since she likes to explore.

Personality: Riell never speaks... since she can't. However, she is very expressive and communicative, constantly waving her arms around and making various gestures to get her point across. Thankfully, she is full of energy and has boundless enthusiasm… until she doesn't anyway. Staying transformed all the time is quite taxing, so Riell can very suddenly jump from being very high energy to being very lethargic. What's more, she is easily distracted and jumps from one thing to another on a whim. These things together mean she very rarely finishes anything she starts.

She's not really about the end goal though, she just wants to live her life as a human child, it's so much more interesting and comfortable than life as a wild Ditto. Human kids get TV, and the internet and video games! As such, she will go extremes to continue hiding her true identity. She just wants to be a real girl. Only her "parents" and Abra know the truth.

Name: Victor R. Yan
Gender: Male
Age: 15

Appearance:
Victor is 5'7" and of average weight, but still a growing boy. His black hair is unruly when long, so he keeps it fairly short. He often has pretty heavy-duty electrical safety gloves on, which looks pretty out of place on him considering his wardrobe is not very remarkable otherwise, mostly consisting of plain hoodies and blue jeans. He carries around a large, black backpack with many pockets, filled with gadgets and snacks.

Personality & Background: Victor is an endlessly curious young man, with a fondness for making contraptions and gadgets in his spare time. Some of them work okay, some of them don't. Focus on the journey, not the outcome, as he likes to say. He loves to talk. He'll talk to anyone about anything, and he has a penchant for thinking out loud as well, which often makes it look like he is talking to himself.

His mom is a field researcher and his dad is a homemaker with a passion for baking. Because of the nature of his mom's work, they tend to move around a lot for her career, never sticking in one place for long. As a result, him and his siblings are usually not able to develop very strong friendships with other kids before they have to move again. Their family is quite close-knit because of this, though. Their parents are very supportive of his hobby, almost to the point of it being irresponsible.

His sister is 16, and an aspiring Trainer. She is calm, quiet and reserved, the opposite of him, but despite this, they get along very well. Much of the Pokémon-related gadgets he comes up with are made with her in mind, as she is much more of Trainer than he is.

His brother is 7. A little bit spoiled as the baby of the family, but still a sweet kid and looks up to his brother a lot, often sitting in on his building sessions. It would be tragic if he did not get his Christmas present from Santa this year.

Strengths:
Intelligent/Tech-savvy: Sure, a lot of his inventions don't necessarily work the way he wants them to, but it does require a certain level of intelligence to take apart toasters and Poke Balls to make other things that sort of function well. He's only 15, after all - some trial and error is bound to happen.

Optimistic: It's hard to put a damper on his spirits. Failures are a bummer, but he always sees them as a learning opportunity, and he never feels like anything is impossible.

Weaknesses:
Curiosity Killed The Cat: His inquisitive nature is a bit of a double-edged sword, since it can also lead him into some sticky situations, either by making something that shouldn't exist or just sticking his nose where it doesn't belong.

Bad Trainer: He's not much of a Pokémon Trainer, unfortunately. He likes Pokémon a lot, he just doesn't have much of an interest in battling.

Partner Pokémon: Morpeko ("GP")

Victor's Morpeko is an energetic little rodent, and a willing test subject to a lot of his possibly unsafe inventions. Because of this, he calls him his "guinea pig", or GP for short. He loves baked goods, which he often demands when in Hangry Mode.

He knows Thunder Shock, Victor knows this much - he's used this to power quite a few of his gadgets. He probably knows a couple other moves, too, but they've not really explored this yet.

Extra:
Some of his "working" inventions

Dawn Ball - Previously a Dusk Ball he was tinkering with to find out how it works. After breaking a few, he managed to change the parameters of its catch condition and make his own "Dawn" Ball, which he used to catch his Morpeko with. Occasionally emits a bit of smoke when GP is in there for too long. Which is probably why he doesn't stay in there much.

Cordless Oven - Thunder Shock to charge. It's portable, technically. Not very light or waterproof, though.

PokeTranslator - It's an old laptop he modified, with a mic attached. It always responds with an output, but the accuracy of its translations are to be determined.

None of these are going to be particularly helpful in delivering the presents, probably, but maybe he whips up something useful over the course or the RP, or dusts an old gadget off from their garage.

Name: Peter "Pete" Gorinshi
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Partner Pokémon: Piplup (Zvary, or just ZZ)

Personality: Christmas is the season of giving, and also everything Peter hates about the world, essentially. The glitz and happiness and caroling drives him nuts, leaving him jaded to the core. It's not so much that he has anything against the generosity that's prepackaged with the season of giving, or that generosity in general, but after being denied that kind of sympathy over and over again he's fashioned himself into something of a pessimistic nihilist. That's how he feels, anyway, but in truth he's actually sympathetic to a fault, as a result he tends to come off as stand-offish but rarely pushes others away. He finds it difficult to approach people regardless, as he finds his general attitude to be off-putting and is self-conscious about his prosthetic arm, even when he's wearing gloves.

If nothing else, Peter probably just wants to make people smile and have those warm, fuzzy feelings that he hasn't had in good while. There's a good heart in there somewhere, it's just covered in sooty pessimism and cynicism that's hard for him to shake. If he even wants to at all. The only thing that truly keeps him from being the king of all arses is the ray of light that's shone from him when his crybaby of a Piplup jumps into his arms.

Weaknesses: (Well-intentioned) Simp - There are literally hundreds of ways to say no, but if someone starts crying or giving him puppy eyes, Pete might as well be mute because he becomes completely at their mercy.

Left-Handed - Though not a weakness in itself, Peter's left arm is a prosthetic and he's still not used to relying on his right arm for day to day tasks. As a result he can come off as somewhat clumsy, but he's trying his best.

Name: Meena Briar
Gender: Female
Age: 27
Partner Pokémon: Chikorita

Personality: Meena is shy but won't hesitate to point out your flaws or poke holes in the logic of your conversations. She's the epitome of a backseat driver; never really doing anything herself, but always there to grind on you for your shortcomings. But this isn't how she's always been. A certain incident left her bedridden for several years and since then she's grown callous to all the people she used to know that have moved on and left her... but she recognizes these things in herself, and hopes to move past it. She'll often catch herself in the midst of one of these acts and restrain herself. She's always had a mean streak all up her spine though and isn't afraid to tell it how it is, more often than not disregarding the circumstances and possible repercussions. Despite all this, she is indeed shy. She'll never butt in on a conversation or try talking to more than one or two people at a time. She has trouble bringing up conversations with her peers, but get her on a topic she likes and she can talk for hours.

Strengths:
- Inquisitive nature: She loves to learn new things. Not any one thing in particular, but tidbits of all things. She's easily excited when she finds a new secondhand textbook or a plaque to read in a park.

- Outgoing: Despite her shortcomings, Meena hates sitting still. Her legs are always bouncing, and she's ready to hop up and take on what she can handle and much more. Physical limitations have never really held her back, but to make up for what she may lack she looks to her partner Pokemon. She wants to see and learn all that she can in her life.

- Polite: Given her noble upbringing, she has the makings of a polite and proper young woman. Though many of her mannerisms would seem odd to the common folk, she still gives proper notices and gratuities where other people might shrug it off and not care. She's been made to believe that her image and standing is incredibly important, and that every interaction should reflect her status.

Weaknesses:
- Sheltered: Growing up, she had a very strict education. She was meant to be a rich noble, and to spend her time locked up in a cage away from any and all adventure. This has caused what she does know about the outside world to be significantly smaller in scale to what others might. Common colloquialisms that people say may just go over her head, and any popular culture is beyond her reach.

- Physically frail: Meena has been bedridden the past eight years, and was only just recently cleared to start travelling again after suffering a traumatic physical experience and undergoing rigorous physical therapy and rehabilitation.

- Shy: Meena is shy. She doesn't like to initiate exchanges with others due to her limited knowledge of common practice outside of nobility. She's not up on a lot of things that other people her age might be, and so she's often worried that she might not fit in and be ostracized, so she spends a lot of time inside her own head, mentally revisiting textbooks she's read or re-imagining recent conversations into what she'd hoped they would have been.

- Scared: Despite all of her wants and desires, she's still afraid that she'll have another incident and wind up spending several more years in medical care. She pushes herself in her head to do things all the time, and then ends up berating herself for it when she can't accomplish the task. This oftentimes leads her to feeling despair and without the desire to do anything.

Likes: Loves Grass and Water-type Pokemon. They're so often pretty or majestic and she just really vibes with their aesthetics.
Looooves junk food. Chips, dips, cookies, and candy. If you have an idea for a snack, she's probably already tried it and is excited to know what you thought of it, regardless of if she liked it or not.
Theater. Though she's not likely to openly admit it without some prodding or buildup, she loves the platonic idea of theater.

Dislikes: Loathes Rock-type Pokemon. They're boring and not attractive in any way.
Hates people that don't have table manners. Chew with your mouth shut you friggin horse.
Hates theater kids. What's up with them anyways? Bunch of weirdos.

Name: Oran Fulbert
Gender: Male
Age: 24
Partner Pokémon: Minccino

Appearance: Short and stout, built more for strength than speed. Dark tan skin, short, neatly trimmed black hair, a hint of a mustache growing in, and light blue eyes. Prefers green and black clothes.

Personality: While not exactly shy, he doesn't like to stand out, and prefers to give other people a chance to shine. He's smart and pleasant, so a decent conversationalist, if a bit lacking in initiative. Overall a bit quiet and carefree, content to let others do their own thing, but willing to involve himself if asked.

Weaknesses: He is unable to say no when asked for help, blames himself if things get difficult, and in general needs to have more confidence. He also loves donuts, and will do anything if bribed with them.

Likes: food (both making it and eating it), binge watching TV, tidy areas, a job well done.

Dislikes: loud noises, rude people, being bored, any vehicle or sport that requires good balance.

Flavor: Works as a janitor at the local market, but would prefer to work in the bakery. Likes action movies and adventure novels, but knows he could never be a hero in real life.

Name: Paulie Ruth
Age: 18
Pronouns: He / Him / She / Her
Partner Pokémon: A very curious and jolly, male Purrloin named Hamlet, that often pisses her off.



Appearance:
Paulie is the type of person that is so thin that looks taller than how she actually is, but the exaggerated amount of TWO (2) sweaters she uses at this specific time of the year kinda make up for it.

She's got fair skin and naturally dark brown hair, with part of it dyed purple and held on a ponytail.

Her eyes are light brown, but no one will ever be aware of that because she uses pink contacts, and to top it all, she also wears dark glasses.

Paulie enjoys using accessories like necklaces or earrings. The flashier they are, the better for her. Of course, flashy doesn't necessarily equal expensive; she doesn't have the money for that, and when she does, she'd rather spend it on something else she is actually interested in. After all, why pay many extra thousand PokéDollars just to look the same as you do with the budget stuff?

Personality:
As a fan of stages and plays, Paulie is an extremely eccentric and dramatic person. While not the best actor himself, he is really good at chaotically lifting the tension of the smallest situation because he is a good speaker and a good screamer too. Not to mention he's got a big imagination.

He thinks festivities are the best moment for the world to meet his inner actor. He would play as Santa, but he has to help him deliver presents.

Weaknesses:
He gets distracted often for finding a lot of his surroundings interesting. Being lost in thought most of the time, it's easy to scare him and make him upset for snapping him out of his imaginary world.

He also has trouble moving around much because he has to wear a lot of clothes during winter, due to low resistance to cold.

Likes:
- He is big into watching movies from old and new generations, and is a big drama nerd in general.
- While he is interested in the Seventh Art, he is more into seeing the actors in live plays. He actually owns many books of different ones, including different editions of the same play.
- Petting Hamlet as a stress reliever.
- Dressing up as different people for festivities or celebrations of any kind and getting out of his usual attire. Sadly, he doesn't have enough money to get those costumes, so he doesn't do that much.
- Acting.

Dislikes:
- Being distracted from being distracted.
- Needing money.
- Winter, except for the festivities. It's mostly because she doesn't like wearing too many clothes at the same time.

Name: Entro Pai
Gender: Male
Age: 34
Partner Pokémon: Shieldon , "Eracaste"

Personality
Entro comes off as a fairly stoic man, being physically imposing with his great height and muscular build while generally being rather taciturn. He doesn't say much to strangers, or when he just deems chat to be unnecessary, but often becomes talkative while among friends and family. He dedicates most of his time and energy towards his craft, as he's renowned as an incredibly skilled blacksmith, and so struggles to latch onto topics that stray too far from it. It's not that he's uninterested in speaking about other things, but his limited exposure to people and events outside of his small bubble often leave him unsure of what to say or how to express himself. Despite all this, he does enjoy being around people, just not when it gets awkward because he doesn't know what to say. Really, he's a big softie.

When it comes to his personal life, Entro is in a committed relationship with three other men who he shares his home and business with. His partner pokémon, a Shieldon named Eracaste, is his best friend that he dotes on like a child, and who is also an extremely enthusiastic supporter and field tester for many of Entro's smithing projects. While with any of these men in his life, Entro's demeanor becomes much softer, albeit just as quiet if any outsiders are present. He prefers to communicate most things through body language and expression, anyways.

Weaknesses
One of the first things most people will notice about Entro is just how intimidating he is, both physically and in the vibes he radiates. He considers this to be both a strength, and one of his most basic weaknesses, as it often poses itself as an obstacle to properly interacting with others, alongside it being rather contrary to his actual personality.

He can also be caught severely off guard when presented with anything cute, be it a pokémon, a small child, plushies, landscaping, or what have you. This is a frequent source of cognitive dissonance to anyone that meets this big. burly, threatening man that suddenly melts if anything is too adorable.

Additionally, he's . . . not the brightest bulb around. While his technical skill and artistry are unparalleled, most cerebral things are a bit beyond him, partly due to his own obliviousness brought on by absorption in his work and hobbies, which also tend to just be his work. That doesn't stop him from putting his all into it no matter what's presented to him, bless his big bearish heart.

Likes:

• Smithing, particularly extravagant weaponry and utilitarian tools
• Men, especially his three husbands
• Showing off his creations to the local children that like to swing by his shop just to see what he's been working on, and then often having to tell them to put various sharp and otherwise dangerous objects down before they hurt themselves
• Quiet, candlelit evenings filled with hearty meals and long walks on the beach
• Facial hair. He has a thick, black beard that covers most of his face and wraps all the way around from sideburn to sideburn, connecting to the stubble atop his shaved head.
• Sweets. He adores most baked goods, helped along by one of his husbands running a local bakery. It keeps his labor-toned muscles tempered with a healthy layer of thiccness.

Dislikes:

• Pie. He hates it with a passion, regardless of artistry or composition. He considers it such a defining part of his being that he almost ubiquitously mentions it at the end of any and all social interactions, no matter how out of place it seems. It's a topic that can get him very heated. Do not broach the topic of pies with him. Do not try to convince him to enjoy pies, and absolutely never bring a pie in his presence. He will go off on a pie-hating tirade at each and every opportunity presented. Pies or anything pie adjacent are on the table. Pot pies? Hates them. Even pizzas are often too close to being a true pie for comfort, and he'll often forego them, though he can occasionally be convinced to indulge in one. Oddly enough, sweet potato pies are fine. He loves them. Don't try to talk to him about how it's actually a pie and coax him into trying any other pies or use it to pry into the source of his hatred; he will punch you in the throat.

Name: Samuel Clermont
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Partner Pokémon: Turtonator

Personality / Backstory / Weaknesses: Sam can probably be defined as a bored bookworm. After a quiet life in the company of rather rich, but also over-protective parents, Sam is trying to break out of the monotony by finding more friends amongst his peers, hanging out with them more often and just trying lots of new experiences. One of his dreams is, in fact, to travel around the region with his Pokémon! Due to his sheltered upbringing though, Sam is still quite clueless and naive... especially when it comes to being street-smart and dealing with high pressure situations. Or evaluating dangerous situations.

Sam's childhood may not be perfect, but it did make him quite knowledgeable and curious. He likes discussions and debates over fighting or arguing and he will nearly always be the one who asks the most questions in class. In fact, another long-term ambition of Samuel is becoming a journalist! Too bad that his attitude and his flowery language are not something everyone can handle.

Trying to keep their son safe and happy, but unaccustomed to Pokémon in general, Sam's parents decided to ask for help and find him a Pokémon pet - preferably strong and reliable. But what Sam actually received surprised everyone! Soon enough, the wary and menacing Turtonator became the odd child of the family - and Sam is starting just now to warm up to it.

After all, communication and teamwork are not the easiest things to accomplish with him. He finds it hard to get his Pokémon to trust him and obey him, but at the same time he faces these problems with many other people as well. He can act quite arrogant or uppish if he thinks others aren't listening to him... and it definitely takes a lot of time to become Sam's close friend.

Likes: Reading, obviously. But also cute Pokémon, Pokémon contests, baking sweets and cakes, and most importantly... board games!

Dislikes: Bitter food (coffee), cold weather, and weirdly enough, classical music.

Name: Dox the Deoxys
Gender: Male
Age: At this point, he doesn't even remember. It's been a while.

Personality: Having lived for essentially thousands of millenia, Dox has the expected temperament of a grouchy, jaded old man whos not surprised by anything anymore. While far from nihilistic, he has a hard time getting friendly with people, since he knows nothing lasts. He has a soft spot for young children and Pokemon, however.

History: Dox has a purpose in the galactic space Pokemon community: he's the babysitter for the newest generation of Cosmog that descends to earth every few centuries. It's a job he has learned to enjoy, and is rather talented at now. It helps that once the initial jumpy, excitable stage of their childhood is over, they turn into the most manageable kids a babysitter can ask for. This is his current dependent's state, Mo the Cosmoem, and while docile and quiet, hauling around a 999 kilo Pokemon around is not an easy task.

Gender: Male

Personality: A brash young man with a chip on his shoulder about everything, Miguel is very eager to prove his worth in (dare I say it) quixotic quests for attention and glory, often showboating and acquiring unusual talents in a wide variety of fields. He is also quite cheery and oblivious, often not understanding if he's being insulted or playing it off in some galaxy brain way as a way to compliment him (and totally not to shield his fragile ego).

Likes: Paella, flamenco, football (soccer), roleplaying as a knight, riding a horse Pokemon, romancing women

Dislikes: The French Kalosians, bad wine, being interrupted from his siesta, Galarian tourists (especially the ones on the beaches)
