Story Summary
In a region divided by three factions vying for dominance, each promoting a set of ideals they believe to be absolute, you are an idealistic young trainer aspiring to join Team Magma. In doing so, you hope to promote the advancement of mankind. It turns out that hope for a better world is a funny thing as nearly everyone has it in some way, but people take their hope in many different directions. Whether their hope is on land, in the water, in the sky, or somewhere else people will push for their dreams. In doing so, they often trample on the hopes and dreams of others all in the name of achieving their goal of a ‘utopia’. This is the world you are thrust into. Upon joining Team Magma, you become a part of the Hoenn underworld where you soon realize that instead of right and wrong, there are only the weak and the strong. In Pokemon Team Magma Edition you will have the opportunity to work your way up through the ranks of Team Magma, using whatever means necessary (cheating, stealing, etc.) to make Maxie's vision of a perfect world for humans a reality. Explore Hoenn's three-way conflict and the toll it takes on the populace. Uncover the truth behind the formation of Team Aqua and Team Magma along with the mysterious team before their time and the truth behind the Devon Corp and Hoenn’s government.

Hey! Moved your thread here since two rules of RHS aren't fulfilled:

• At least twelve screenshots, which must not simply be battle screens, Pokédex entries, stat screens, or showcase areas which have not been significantly edited. Screenshots which have been manipulated to inaccurately portray the ROM hack, or are otherwise fraudulent, will not count towards this minimum.
• A download of a patch for a playable release of the ROM hack, which shows significant progress. The guideline is progress equivalent to what roughly seven Gyms of content would entail in a standard Pokémon game. The distribution of ROM files (.GBA, .NDS, .CIA, etc.) is illegal, and completely forbidden on the PokéCommunity. All downloads must be in patch form.

Hey I don't know how to say this but this rom hack and firered rocket edition are the best legendary rom hacks ever. I love the villian games so much and I hope this gets updated and hoping for a sequel to firered rocket edition. I love you guys so much and keep up the good work. ❤️

im loving this hack, i was waiting for a team magma/aqua hack like team rocket edition, now im waiting for team galatic edition😁, anyways, i have a question, after this gets finished..will you make team aqua edition?, i also think the custom soundtrack should improve a bit..

The custom soundtrack sounds great on youtube. The issue that we have been having is two main audio bigs those being voicegroup issues which affects the quality of the song that is why some custom music may sound a bit off. And sound effects playing ow the music. These two issues are linked to the voicegroups and unfortunately it is something we aren't sure how to fix. Voicegroups for decomp hacks have very little documentation and as a result it is kind of difficult for us. Ideally we figure it all out and post a patch fixing all of the music bugs but there is a really real possibility that the music will never be fixed or that it will take years until it is figured out.

Wow 4 months waiting this game is best I hope final version come soon can't think how hard is making rom hack best of luck making game number 1

We don't really have beta testers yet when we get closer to beta 1 we'll most likely let people apply to be one though.

There are already a couple of Team Rocket hacks but this is the first hack where you're part of Team Magma (to my knowledge). Good luck with your project!

This is good but pls reduce the difficulty spike. Also reducing the encounter rates would help. Other than that perfect rom to begin. Keep it up!

Just finish the beta 0.5.1., got crushed by Ruby & Saphire(with a team of level 26 pokémon)...

this looks to be the successor of the FireRed Rocket Edition imo. gonna be keeping my eye on this

We were inspired by fire red rocket edition but I wouldn't call us a successor to it we aren't in any way related to fire red rocket edition.

it feels similar but in Hoenn, Steven is a tyrant champion by the looks of it unlike Lance of the Kanto-Johto region.
