That actually looks pretty neat. I am suprised this already doesn't exist, because it seems simple.
Imagine playing games with that. <3

I'm not sure if I'm sold. D: Having the windows on a linear plane just... I don't know, it seems like it would be really awkward. I mean, if you're trying to multitask and view several windows at once, I like the ease at which you can do that, but having it linearly displayed would be horrible if you had more than, say, three windows up. :( You can only horizontally condense a window so much before its contents become unreadable or too hard to view properly.
I don't even want to think about playing Left 4 Dead or Starcraft with that. Maybe an RPG, but it'd have to be turn-based rather than action.Imagine playing games with that. <3
You could just wash your hands. :3It's also bad for doing grown up related things having part of it still open when you change to a different program D:

I don't think I'd mind that so much. I'm sure the concept isn't new to most people, it's not like they're going to start asking questions. I'd just rather them not see me with my junk out... or with junk on my hands. :OI meant like people barging into your room and then seeing a small panel to the side of something for adults :P
Oh and people who are worried about what it'll mean for games, use your brain.
I already am. Maybe you should try it, it's quite enlightening. It would completely screw up FPS, RTS, and action games; it would be nigh impossible to play these with the same ease that a keyboard/mouse offers. Turn-based games wouldn't be affected so much, but even they'd have to be redesigned. This system works pretty well for navigating a GUI, but it's horrible for doing anything with quick precision, which is why it fails for gaming.Oh and people who are worried about what it'll mean for games, use your brain.
Anyway! As for gaming; when Doom was released; the idea of using a mouse to play it just seemed SILLY; and why use WASD when the Arrow Keys are right there ready to be used. But here we are; and can anybody imagine NOT using kb/m for FPS games? The point I'm bringing is that games tend to follow the cues of the interface. Could you imagine something like Supreme Commander; where you could be using gestures with both your hands to co-ordinate groups of units to attack? Being able to draw a direction your units move in on, with your hand; determining the spread of formation with pinching, and using other gestures to determine stance of fire? And then using both hands to co-ordinate multiple groups at a time, mmm. Makes me happy just thinking about ut!

I'll concede that RTS could possibly put it to good use, if the issue of precision could be dealt with (a pointy object would still be better, like the DS stylus, for instance). I refuse to concede that an FPS could possibly be played in this way; it simply wouldn't work.I am *so* excited right now. I want this interface *now* @_@ I picture it in my head across my four monitors (six, when I go 5870) and it just...gosh, I'm going to need some time alone <3
