#14: Who Let the Dogs Out?

My favourite dog Pokemon is probably Stoutland, because it served me quite well on the OU ladder whenever I used sand.

I'm happy to see my suggestion made it to this week's poll (:

Have to go with my favorite pokemon in the entire Pokedex Arcanine! He has one of the greatest art designs in my opinion, and I love how he goes from the "Puppy Pokemon" to the "Legendary Pokemon." Plus, he clocks in at around 6ft or so which gives me the impression you can ride him like a horse, and wouldn't that be super sick to do?! And honestly, on a weird side note, I think that Flare Blitz is a match made in heaven for this pokemon. Can you just picture him blazing at high speed surrounded by fire about to attack his opponent? Mmm so much love, can't hate on him period.

I'd have to go with Arcanine line. =) Growlithe is adorable; if I ever were to have a puppy in real life, I'd love it if it looked something like this. As for Arcanine, well, it's big, huge, powerful, and it's feared by other Pokémon, too. If it didn't, it definitely wouldn't have had Intimidate ability, haha. It could also be pretty helpful while battling competitively; you just need to be a little thoughtful while utilizing, and it could sweep your opponent away easily.

Definitely this glamorous pup right here.
When I first saw Furfrou I didn't really have much thought other than, "Oh cool! A Poodle Pokemon that you can trim and stuff!". But as I began to go through X&Y I found myself really loving it and thinking it's cry was really cool too. (Woof woof~) Amazing design, awesome hair cuts, amazing shiny that has a great impact on it's different hair styles.

I bred for that shiny for a while too, man! Still have that precious baby to this day.

I'm actually not a huge fan of dogs but I really think I'd enjoy having a Furfrou as a pet in real life. It's just so chill and has the coolest '2 fab 4 u' expression ever.

It's more like a 'cool cat' than a dog haha.

Arcanine was an easy choice for me, as it's not only my favorite Dog Pokemon, but arguably my favorite of all the Fire types. I gave votes to Houndour/Houndoom and the Lillipup line as well, since both were quite effective for me in the Unova based games.
